Background: Due to the high prevalence of hepatic steatosis (HS), the aim of the study is to verify the frequency of HS incidentally detected in chest computed tomography (CT) imaging in our population affected by SARS-CoV-2 and to investigate its association with the severity of the infection and outcome in terms of hospitalization.
Design And Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 500 patients with flu syndrome and clinically suspected of having Sars-CoV-2 infection who underwent unenhanced chest CT and have positive RT-PCR tests for Sars-CoV-2 RNA. Two radiologists both with >5 years of thoracic imaging experience, evaluated the images in consensus, without knowing the RT-PCR results.
Purpose: The purpose of the study was to assess the diagnostic accuracy of ADC ratio and to evaluate its efficacy in reducing the number of false positives in prostatic mpMRI.
Materials And Methods: All patients who underwent an mpMRI and a targeted fusion biopsy in our institution from 2016 to 2021 were retrospectively selected. Two experienced readers (R1 and R2) independently evaluated the images, blindly to biopsy results.
Many coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) survivors show symptoms months after acute illness. The aim of this work is to describe the clinical evolution of Covid-19, one year after discharge. We performed a prospective cohort study on 238 patients previously hospitalized for Covid-19 pneumonia in 2020 who already underwent clinical follow-up 4 months post-Covid-19.
