Macular edema is the first cause of visual impairment in diabetic patient. This paper is a retrospective evaluation of a group of patients with diabetic retinopathy and macular edema, treated with intravitreal Avastin (Bevacizumab) injection. The patients have been monitored mainly by assessing the evolution of visual acuity and macular thickness (OCT), after treatment, and the results have been compared with preexisting literature data.

The paper underlines the importance of the imagistic examination in the diagnosis and the therapeutical orientation in an orbital injury in a four-year-old child. The orbital injury ends with a foreign body (fragment of a pencil) in the orbit. The situation and the orientation of the foreign body was revealed by the computer tomography and the MIMICS program.

Unlabelled: Cataract surgery is one of the most successful procedures in the last decades. In this paper we present the evolution and the treatment results in four cases of post cataract surgery diplopia, analyzing the causes influencing the outcome of strabismus.
