[Chronic management of COPD--results of a questionnaire for COPD patients].

Aim: evaluation of real ambulatory treatment followed by COPD patients. Eighty COPD patients were prospectively interviewed: 1 in stage I, 11 in stage II, 36 in stage III and 32 in stage IV. They were asked what medication they use as chronic ambulatory treatment and on what duration through one year, how many periodic check-ups they make.

[A case of tumor-like pulmonary sarcoidosis].

We present the case of a female patient age 32, with no medical history, presenting with chest pain and asthenia. Chest X-ray and CT scan revealed multiple nodular shadows in both lungs, suggesting lung metastasis. Bronchoscopy and broncho-alveolar lavage didn't reveal any malignant cells.

[Cost analysis in patients admitted with COPD in 2002].

Unlabelled: The aim of the study was to assess the costs of hospital admission for COPD patients in a high level unit ("Marius Nasta" Institute of Pulmonology) in order to appreciate the financial burden of the disease. We analyzed retrospectively the medical charts of patients admitted between January and September 2002. 181 charts were included.
