Pathologic fracture of the femur due to endometrial adenocarcinoma metastasis in a female pet rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculi).

This case report describes the clinical, pathomorphological and histopathological findings in a 12-year-old female pet rabbit with a pathologic fracture of the femur due to a metastasising endometrial adenocarcinoma. The animal was presented due to a history of right hindlimb lameness and inappetence. A fracture of the right femur with adjacent lyric bone lesions was detected by clinical and X-ray examination.
