A pseudophakic patient presented with a vitreous haemorrhage and iris neovascularization associated with proliferative diabetic retinopathy. Vitrectomy with panretinal photocoagulation and intraocular gas tamponade of an iatrogenic break was performed. As an alternative to intravitreal injection into a gas-filled eye, triamcinolone acetonide was injected into the anterior chamber.
