Purpose: In the recovery phase of COVID-19 disaster management, Emergency Department (ED) nurses are attempting to return to normal workforce operations, despite significant impacts on personal and professional lives. This review aims to examine and synthesise current literature for the learnings and recommendations from the lived experiences of ED nurses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Procedures: Electronic databases CINAHL Complete, Web of Science, Scopus (Elsevier) and PubMed were utilised using a 5-year timeframe that aligned with COVID-19 in Australia.
Background: Gait retraining, through altering foot progression angle, has the potential to reduce pain and offload the medial tibiofemoral compartment in people with knee osteoarthritis. This pilot study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of toe-in and toe-out gait retraining on self-reported pain and physical function, and proxy measures of medial knee load, in individuals with medial knee osteoarthritis.
Methods: Twenty participants with symptomatic medial knee osteoarthritis were randomly allocated to receive either toe-in or toe-out gait retraining for six-weeks, consisting of weekly clinician-supervised sessions and ≥ 30 min of daily self-practice.

Results showed that DHT increased the insoluble dietary fiber and free phenolic compounds of the investigated maize flours, while the bound phenolic compounds, anthocyanins, and pasting properties decreased with the rising of the applied temperature. The application of DHT caused the most notable changes regarding the amount of dietary fiber.
