The present study aimed to assess the bioequivalence of a new apixaban generic with reference formulation. Twenty-six healthy volunteers were recruited for an open-label, balanced, randomized, 2-treatment, 2-sequence, 2-period, single oral dose study. Following overnight fasting, each volunteer received 5 mg of apixaban test and reference formulations as single doses, separated by a 1-week washout period.

Article Synopsis
  • * It analyzed data from 480 hospitalized CAP patients between January 2019 and June 2020, determining antibiotic failure based on criteria like patient mortality, ICU transfer, and length of hospital stay.
  • * The results showed that the DRIP score had low accuracy in predicting antibiotic failure, with a p-value indicating poor calibration and a ROC curve AUC that suggests limited effectiveness for clinical use.

Osteoarthritis (OA) contributes to significant medical and socioeconomic burden in many populations. Its prevalence is expected to rise continuously owing to the combined effects of aging and increase in risk factors, including obesity, physical inactivity, and joint injuries. Pain is a hallmark presentation of OA.

Irregular labelling on graph is a function from component of graph to non-negative natural number such that the weight of all vertices, or edges are distinct. The component of graph is a set of vertices, a set of edges, or a set of both. In this paper we study two types of irregular labelling on dodecahedral modified generalization graph.

Background: Bovine pericardium collagen membrane (BPCM) had been widely used in guided bone regeneration (GBR) whose manufacturing process usually required chemical cross-linking to prolong its biodegradation. However, cross-linking of collagen fibrils was associated with poorer tissue integration and delayed vascular invasion.

Objective: This study evaluated the potential of bovine cortical bone collagen membrane for GBR by evaluating its antigenicity potential, cytotoxicity, immune and tissue response, and biodegradation behaviors.

The present study was performed to compare the bioavailability of 2 risedronate sodium 35 mg film-coated tablet formulations (test formulation and reference formulation). Prior to the present study, in vitro comparative dissolution test has been conducted for test and reference formulations. Dissolution profiles shown that more than 85% of the drug is dissolved within 15 min at pH 1.

Introduction: The present study was conducted to compare the bioavailability of two candesartan cilexetil 16 mg tablet formulations (test and reference formulations).

Materials And Methods: This study was a randomized, single- blind, two-period, cross-over study which included 24 healthy adult male and female subjects under fasting conditions. The pharmacokinetic parameters were determined based on the concentrations of candesartan (CAS 139481-59-7), using ultra-pressure high-performance liquid chromatography with a tandem mass spectrometer detector.
