Background: Dermal fillers have been a popular choice for cosmetic dermatology procedures, and understanding the physical properties of microparticles used in dermal fillers is crucial for developing safe and effective aesthetic treatments.
Aim: This study analyzed three dermal filler products (Radiesse, HarmonyCA, and Hydroxyfill) based on calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres approved for dermal filler procedures in Mexico.
Material And Methods: The study used scanning electron microscopic analysis to study the morphology and characteristics of the calcium hydroxyapatite microspheres used in these dermal filler products.
