Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate the mechanical properties of Reciproc, Reciproc Blue, One RECI, and R-Motion, specifically focusing on their flexibility and buckling resistance; and to assess their torsional fatigue behavior under two different reciprocation angles (150°/30° or 70°/30°).

Methods: A total of 160 instruments (40 per brand) were tested. Flexion and buckling tests were conducted using a Universal testing machine (DL 200MF) was used.

In this study we report a leap forward in the quest for a new ecofriendly approach, characterizing (both physicochemically and biologically) and testing both in vitro and ex vivo a new lytic phage for Pcg.

Effects of a pre-enlargement on fracture incidence of reused reciprocating instruments: A clinical study.

This study assessed the impact of pre-enlarging the root canal using a size 25 K-file on the fracture incidence of three reciprocating instruments after multiple uses. After a glide path performed with a size 15 K-file, the instruments (Reciproc R25, Reciproc Blue R25, and WaveOne Gold Primary) were initially used in 936 root canals. Then, for the second and third uses (933 and 927, respectively), a pre-enlargement using a size 25 K-file at the working length was done.

Spondias mombin L. (Anacardiaceae) is an arboreal and allogamous fruit tree native from southern Mexico to southeastern Brazil, with great potential for economic exploitation. This study aimed to evaluate the structure and genomic diversity of yellow mombin accessions collected in nine locations in Brazil using Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNP) markers.

[Permanent health education for managers as a tool to combat institutional racism in a Northeastern Brazilian municipality].

This article discusses the experience of a permanent health education initiative focused on institutional racism with health professionals from the Brazilian Unified Health System (SUS) holding management positions in a municipality in the interior of Bahia, in Northeastern Brazil. A workshop was held in September 2022, based on a problematizing methodology called the Maguerez Arc, conducted by residents of the Multiprofessional Family Health Program. Ten managers participated in the workshop, most of whom were women.

Dark Septate Endophytic (DSE) fungi can benefit plants by optimizing nutrient uptake, biosynthesis of phytohormones-like compounds, and stress relief such as toxic metals. The objective was to characterize in vitro 57 strains of the DSE Periconia macrospinosa isolated from sugarcane roots, indicating the most promising in solubilizing phosphate sources, growing in different metal and vinasse contents, and producing molecules related to indoleacetic acid (IAA). The strains were from the Embrapa Agrobiology Fungi Collection.

The study assessed the Global Quality Score (GQS) and informational engagement of users with YouTube videos on the Brazilian public health system (SUS). The YouTube video search tool was used with the Portuguese keywords 'unified health system' and 'SUS'. The first 100 videos returned in the search were studied, using the GQS to measure their educational value, usefulness, and information quality.
