Objective: to analyze the effectiveness of auriculotherapy for decreasing anxiety and stress of perioperative nursing professionals.

Method: mixed methods research, embedded experimental model. In the quantitative stage, a randomized, triple-blind clinical trial was conducted with perioperative nursing professionals, who answered a characterization questionnaire, the List of Signs and Symptoms of Stress, and the General Anxiety Disorder-GAD 7.

Objective: To develop nursing diagnoses and care plans for older adults with pressure injuries based on risk factors, aiming at preventing their occurrence in hospitalized older adults.

Method: Exploratory, descriptive, cross-sectional, quantitative study conducted with 87 medical records at the Medical Clinic Unit of a University Hospital.

Results: Among older adults at some risk for the development of pressure injury, there was a prevalence of the female sex, age over 80 years and moderate risk classification on the Braden Scale.

This is an integrative literature review aimed at finding out how death, teaching about death and the dying process have been addressed in scientific publications in the health field. The research was performed using the Literatura da América Latina e Caribe em Ciências da Saúde e Base de Dados em Enfermagem (Latin America and Caribe Health Sciences Literature and Nursing Database) databases with the descriptors "death" and "teach". The survey covered national publications between 1998 and 2010, 14 articles were selected to compose the corpus of the study.
