A study was made of thromboplastin, antiheparin and antithrombin activity of the brain, heart and liver tissues of rats in experimental chronic alcoholization. Appreciable changes in the tissue factors of coagulation according to the dyscoagulemia type depending on the duration and gravity of alcoholic intoxication may aggravate hemostatic disorders.

These data indicate that the immunosuppressive effect of influenza virus is associated with inhibition of some other elements in the lymphocyte T-system rather than T-helpers.

Prolonged study of the population of Arvicola terrestris L. in connection with tularemia epizootic among these animals showed this animal to serve as the principal carrier of tularemia infection in the Povorinsk natural focus. Epizootics proved to originate with a definite threshold count of Arvicola terrestris L.

The results of experiments on 200 animals proved the modified threads and prostheses to protect the bacteriostatic effect in surgical wounds within 2 to 10 days' period. The healing of implants was uncomplicated.
