In this study, long-term survivors of head and neck cancer (HNC) were evaluated regarding their symptom burden and quality of life (QoL). This prospective study was performed during the regular follow-up consultations at one of Germany's largest tertiary referral centers for HNC. Confocal laser endomicroscopy (CLE) represents an emerging probe-based intraoperative optical imaging modality, contingent on differential fluoroscein uptake, equipped to improve intraoperative identification of subclinical mucosal disease. Experiments have revealed correlation-driven behavior of DNA in charged solutions, including charge inversion and condensation.
