Chemotherapies of varying classes often cause neuropathy and debilitating chemotherapy-induced neuropathic pain sufficient to limit treatment and reduce quality of life for many patients battling cancer. There are currently no effective preventive or alleviative treatments for chemotherapy-induced neuropathic pain.
