Background Inguinal hernia repair is one of the commonest general surgical procedures performed all over the world. The introduction of synthetic mesh and laparoscopic repair has revolutionized inguinal hernia surgery in the recent past. Laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) repair is now considered a well-established procedure with minimal complications and short hospital stay and less recurrence.

Herein, highly conductive graphene was incorporated as a substrate to anchor polyaniline (PANI) in a hydrogel-based stretchable electrode. Graphene not only provided an effective conducting network in the electrode, but also stabilized PANI during repeating charge-discharge processes due to strong π-π interaction between graphene and PANI.

Electric diathermy is a very important tool for a surgeon and is used in every surgical treatment nowadays. It assists the surgeon to dissect the tissue or enables securing haemostasis in lesser time and with larger delicacy.

Here, we have developed a unique method involving incorporating Nb atoms into MXene (TiC) to enhance its ability to achieve higher ionic storage and longer stability. Computational analysis using density functional theory was performed that explained the material structure, electronic structure, band structure, and density of states in atomistic detail.

Field-emission electron microscope confirmed flowers like morphology of the as-synthesized nanostructures. Furthermore, these show absorption peak in near-infrared (NIR) region at λ 690 nm Different concentrations of GNFs are tested as a contrast agent in CT scans at tube voltage 135 kV and tube current 350 mA.

Background: Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC) is a simple, quick and inexpensive method that is used to sample superficial masses like those found in the neck and is usually performed in the outpatient clinic. It causes minimal trauma to the patient and carries virtually no risk of complications. Masses located within the region of the head and neck, including salivary gland and thyroid gland lesions can be readily diagnosed using this technique.
