Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease primarily affecting hair follicles, characterized by painful nodules, abscesses, and sinus tract formation. Recent evidence suggests that weight management and nutritional factors may influence HS symptoms. This cross-sectional case-control study aimed to assess the impact of body composition and nutritional factors on HS severity.

Methods: Our study is a retrospective cohort study, analyzing data collected from a total of 12 tertiary care centers between April 2012 and April 2022.
Background: Pyoderma Gangrenosum (PG) is a chronic disease characterized by recalcitrant skin ulcers.
Objective: We aimed to evaluate the demographic, clinical characteristics, treatments and factors affecting the treatment responses of patients with PG.
Methods: We performed a multicenter study of 12 tertiary care centers.
Objectives: Isotretinoin (ISO) is a retinoic acid-derived molecule which is very efficient in the treatment of acne vulgaris (AV). Little is known regarding alterating affects of systemic ISO on immune system.
And Methods: Thirty-two patients with moderate and severe AV with indications for systemic ISO treatment were recruited.
Introduction: Early onset psoriasis (EOP) and late onset psoriasis (LOP) differ regarding genetic background, clinical presentation and course of disease.
Objectives: In this study, comparison of EOP and LOP regarding systemic inflammatory comorbidities which are frequently seen in psoriasis and determination of possible differences is aimed.
Methods: A total of 160 plaque psoriasis patients (121 with EOP and 39 with LOP) were enrolled for the study.
Background: Unnecessary dermatology consultation requests from emergency departments (EDs) are a common occurrence worldwide.
Aim: This study aimed to analyze the demographic and clinical characteristics of patients consulted to the dermatology department for dermatologic disorders by a university hospital's pediatric ED (PED) and adult ED (AED).
Materials And Methods: The electronic medical records of 2316 dermatology consultation requests from the PED and AED during a 5-year period were retrospectively reviewed.
Background/aim: Rituximab (RTX) and intravenous human immunoglobulin (IVIG) have been shown to be effective in the treatment of autoimmune bullous diseases (ABD), mainly pemphigus vulgaris (PV). The present study aimed to assess the clinical response of patients with ABD, mainly PV to RTX, IVIG and combined regimen of both. Whether adding IVIG to RTX therapy affects the achievement of complete remission off therapy (CR off), reduces time to CR off, time to steroid cessation, and decreases relapse rate was also investigated.

Patients on immunosuppressive treatments were predicted to be more susceptible to COVID-19.
Aims: It was aimed to assess treatment continuity, the course of psoriasis and the course and clinical features of COVID-19 in patients treated with biological agents for psoriasis at the early initial period of COVID-19 pandemic.
Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic dramatically disrupts health care around the globe. The impact of the pandemic on chronic urticaria (CU) and its management are largely unknown.
Aim: To understand how CU patients are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic; how specialists alter CU patient management; and the course of CU in patients with COVID-19.
Purpose Of Review: This review aims to update on recent findings about epidemiology, risk factors and therapeutic options for fungi causing skin and soft tissue infections. The latest data on emerging antifungal resistance are also discussed.
Recent Findings: In parallel with increased use of immunosuppression, the incidence of fungal infections is also on rise.
Background/aim: Vitiligo is a depigmentation disorder that leads to serious psychological burden in patients, who are frequently reported to have depression and anxiety. The aim of this study was to investigate the association between stress-related hormone levels and psychological stress in vitiligo.
Materials And Methods: In this study46 vitiligo patients and 46 controls were enrolled; their cortisol, dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS),and cortisol/DHEAS levels were measured.
