Cutaneous and Subcutaneous Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen-Avid Lesions.

We report the case of a 62-year-old man with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer with subcutaneous involvement being treated with 177 Lu-prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA). Before treatment, he was diagnosed with 2 subcutaneous nodules in the chest wall and soft tissue edema in the pubic and inguinal regions showing PSMA avidity. Biopsy and immunohistochemistry assessment confirmed cutaneous metastases from prostate cancer.

Extraskeletal osteosarcoma (ESOS) is a very rare entity among renal malignancies. There are few reports of renal ESOS in the database. Renal ESOS was found to have a high rate of local recurrence and distant metastasis.

A retrospective analysis of rectal and bladder dose for gynecological brachytherapy treatments with GZP6 HDR afterloading system.

Aim: The aim of this work is to evaluate rectal and bladder dose for the patients treated for gynecological cancers.

Background: The GZP6 high dose rate brachytherapy system has been recently introduced to a number of radiation therapy departments in Iran, for treatment of various tumor sites such as cervix and vagina.

Materials And Methods: Our analysis was based on dose measurements for 40 insertions in 28 patients, treated by a GZP6 unit between June 2009 and November 2010.
