Purpose: This study aims to investigate the unique proteins in exosomes from mesenchymal stem cells derived from psoriatic lesions and compare them with those from healthy human skin. It seeks to identify potential regulatory factors that may influence the differential effects observed in these exosomes.
Methods: Dermal mesenchymal stem cell exosomes were isolated from healthy human skin (HDMSCs-EXO) and psoriatic lesion of patient (PDMSCs-EXO).
Although immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) have revolutionized liver cancer treatment, some patients experience early tumor progression after therapy, missing the window for other potential treatments, such as neoadjuvant therapy. Therefore, identifying the predictive factors for early progression is critical for timely therapeutic adjustment and the optimization of patient outcomes. This retrospective study enrolled patients with liver cancer who received their first ICI combined with targeted therapy at the Fifth Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital between June 2022 and December 2023.

This study focused on wetland soils subjected to different precipitation gradient treatments and employed high-throughput sequencing technology to analyze the soil cbbM carbon-sequestering microbial communities. The results indicated that Proteobacteria were the dominant microbial community responsible for carbon sequestration in the Wayan Mountain wetland.

Background: The relationship between challenge-hindrance stressors and novice nurses' safety behaviour has rarely been investigated, despite the global concern for patient safety in healthcare systems. Previous research suggests that regulatory focus and workplace spirituality matter for nurse safety behaviour, but the relationship between them remains unclear.
Background: Anti-mitochondrial M2 antibody (AMA-M2) is a specific marker for primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) and it could be also presented in non-PBC individuals.
Methods: A total of 72173 Chinese health check-up individuals tested AMA-M2, of which non-PBC AMA-M2 positive individuals were performed follow-up. Baseline data of both clinical characteristics and laboratory examinations were collected in all AMA-M2-positive individuals.
Objective: To systematically evaluate the prevalence and influencing factors of skin tears in older adults.
Methods: The Cochrane Library, Web of Science, Embase, PubMed, CNKI, VIP, WanFang Data, and CBM databases were searched to collect studies related to the prevalence and influencing factors of skin tears in older adults, and the search period was from inception to October 29, 2024. The examined literature was independently screened, data extracted, and evaluated for risk of bias, and the meta-analysis was performed using Stata17.
Biofouling has been one of the major challenges impacting the long-term stable operation of ultrafiltration processes. Irreversible biofouling is considerably more harmful than reversible biofouling. Conductive membrane, as a new technology to effectively mitigate membrane fouling, lack research of controlling irreversible biofouling.

Materials And Methods: Using data from the Action to Control Cardiovascular Risk in Diabetes Memory in Diabetes (ACCORD-MIND) study, 1349 patients with type 2 diabetes who underwent BP treatment (intensive treatment targeting a systolic BP <120 mmHg vs. standard treatment targeting <140 mmHg) were included in the machine learning analysis.
Constructed wetlands, serving as artificially simulated natural wetland water treatment systems, have emerged as effective technologies for ecologically treating wastewater. Biochar, a carbon material derived from biomass waste pyrolysis, possesses significant specific surface area, abundant functional groups, and high stability. The integration of biochar into artificial wetland systems enhances the removal efficiency of pollutants.

The Chinese rose flower had a high content of anthocyanins (1.73 mg/g) and CRE exhibited different colors in varying pH buffers (2-13).

Objectives: The study aimed to identify how fat mass and obesity-associated protein (FTO) helps breast cancer cells cope with the hypoxic microenvironment and the mechanisms behind breast cancer cell resistance to tumor immunity.
A comprehensive understanding of the formation of mineral-associated organic matter (MAOM) is a prerequisite for the sustainable management of soil carbon (C) and the development of effective long-term strategies for C sequestration in soils. Nevertheless, the precise manner by which microbial and mineral properties drive MAOM formation efficiency and its subsequent response to elevated temperature at the regional scale remains unclear. Here, we employed isotopically labelled laboratory incubations (at 15°C and 25°C) with soil samples from a ~3000 km transect across the Tibetan Plateau to elucidate the mechanisms underlying MAOM formation and its temperature response.

Background: Endophthalmitis is an ophthalmologic emergency requiring accurate and rapid diagnosis for treatment. Currently, the diagnosis commonly relies on culture and molecular biology, which falls short of clinical rapid diagnosis. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of a self-build Microfluidic Real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) System for rapidly identifying potential pathogens of endophthalmitis.

In this study, we included inflammatory cytokine profiles from 8293 healthy subjects, genetic data on blood cells from various ethnic and ancestry backgrounds, including 746,667 individuals, and 1370 patients of European descent with pruritus for a bidirectional 2-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis. We employed several robust statistical methods, including the inverse variance weighted, weighted median, and the MR-Egger method.

Humanoid robots are typically designed for static environments, but real-world applications demand robust performance under dynamic, uncertain conditions. This paper introduces a perceptive motion planning and control algorithm that enables humanoid robots to navigate and operate effectively in environments with unpredictable kinematic and dynamic disturbances. The proposed algorithm ensures synchronized multi-limb motion while maintaining dynamic balance, utilizing real-time feedback from force, torque, and inertia sensors.

The preparation technology and antioxidant activity of AMP added to honey were studied. AMP was extracted with ethanol and its components were analyzed and then mixed evenly with honey in different addition amounts (0.

Currently, the main strategies for treating DPN are strict glycemic control and symptomatic pain relief. In this editorial, we comment on an article by Li which suggested that modulating the gut microbiota using traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) may be a promising strategy for alleviating DPN symptoms.

Typically, these magnetic phase transitions exhibit discontinuous first-order phase transitions. When a material undergoes a magnetic phase transition, it often exhibits simultaneous changes in both its crystal and electronic structures.

Background: Dorper sheep are celebrated for their fast maturation and superior meat quality, with some shedding their wool each spring. Wool shedding occurs naturally due to the hair follicle (HF) cycle, but its regulatory mechanisms remain unclear and need further investigation.
Results: In this study, shedding and non-shedding sheep were selected from the same Dorper flock.
