A new synthesis method for creating a layered zinc oxide solid solution was developed using coprecipitation, allowing for control over the material's microscopic structure without the need for templates.
The resulting codoped zinc oxide incorporates cerium and europium, enhancing both its ability to protect against corrosion and its luminescent properties.
Testing showed that a specific formulation of this material significantly improved corrosion resistance compared to traditional systems, highlighting its potential for advanced anticorrosion applications.
