Strongly alkaline high Cr(VI) contaminated (SAHCR) soil poses a high risk to the environment and public health, yet lacks rapid and efficient remediation technology. In this study, a novel approach combining microwave irradiation with zerovalent iron/pyrite (FeS/ZVI) was developed for the remediation of SAHCR soil. The results indicated that fast and efficient remediation of the SAHCR soil was achieved by microwave irradiation-assisted FeS/ZVI, with 99.

Mas related G-protein-coupled receptor member X2 (MrgX2) has been identified as the crucial receptor in drug induced pseudo-allergic reactions and allergic diseases. In this research, the first type of fluorescent agonists (ZX1, ZX2 and ZX3) for MrgX2 were developed by conjugating environment-sensitive fluorophore coumarin to MrgX2 selective agonists (R)-ZINC-3573. Their environment-sensitive property was confirmed by the dramatically increase of fluorescent intensity after binding to the hydrophobic ligand binding domain MrgX2, which help to overcome the high background signal.

The synthesis of N-containing organophosphine compounds using N as the nitrogen source under mild conditions has attracted much attention. Herein, the conversion of N into iminophosphorane was reported. By visible light irradiation, N was split on a Mo complex bearing a PNCNP ligand, directly forming the Mo nitride.

Graphene oxide has covalently modified by chito oligosaccharides and-polyglutamic acid to form GO-CO--PGA, which exhibits excellent performance as a drug delivery carrier, but this carrier did not have the ability to actively target. In this study, the targeting property of breast cancer tumor cell exosomes was exploited to give GO-CO--PGA the ability to target breast tumor cells (MDA-MB-231), and the drug mitoxantrone (MIT) was loaded to finally form EXO-GO-CO--PGA-MIT with an encapsulation efficiency of 73.02%.

The van der Waals layered material CuInPS features interesting functional behavior, including the existence of four uniaxial polarization states, polarization reversal against the electric field through Cu ion migration, a negative-capacitance regime, and reversible extraction of Cu ions. At the heart of these characteristics lies the high mobility of Cu ions, which also determines the spontaneous polarization. Therefore, Cu migration across the lattice results in unusual ferroelectric behavior.

Activation-induced cytidine deaminase (AID) initiates class-switch recombination and somatic hypermutation (SHM) in antibody genes. Protein expression and activity are tightly controlled by various mechanisms. However, it remains unknown whether a signal from the extracellular environment directly affects the AID activity in the nucleus where it works.

Alpine grassland has very important water conservation function. Grassland degradation seriously affects the water conservation function; moreover, there is little understanding of the change of water state during grassland restoration. Our study aims to bridge this gap and improve our understanding of changes in soil moisture during the restoration process.

Background: College students are vulnerable and may experience high stress due to COVID-19, especially girls. This study aims to identify posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and related factors among the target population during the initial phases of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Methods: In the initial phase of COVID-19 epidemic (February 23 to March 5, 2020), 2205 female college students from six provinces in mainland China were enrolled in this study and completed the online survey about the cognitive status of COVID-19, including the Impact of Event Scale-6, the Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale and a self-developed 10-item Perceived threat scale.

Purpose: To compare the clinical and radiographic outcomes of short implants (≤ 8 mm) vs standard implants (> 8 mm, < 10 mm) and to uncover risk factors influencing implant failure in short implants.

Materials And Methods: Short and standard implants were compared in the aspect of survival rates, biologic and mechanical complications, and marginal bone loss. To analyze risk factors of implant failure in short implants, several variables were taken into consideration, including sex, age, time interval, arch, implant brand, additional surgery, prosthesis material, restoration, smoking status, and crown-root ratio.

SAPO-11 molecular sieves were modified with different Ni contents by the modification method. The Ni-modified SAPO-11 molecular sieves were used as the supports to prepare the corresponding NiW-supported catalysts for the hydroisomerization of n-hexadecane. The Ni-modified SAPO-11 and the corresponding NiW-supported catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, N adsorption-desorption, NH-temperature-programmed desorption, pyridine adsorbed infrared, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.

Nano-membrane tri-gate-gallium oxide (-GaO) field-effect transistors (FETs) on SiO/Si substrate fabricated via exfoliation have been demonstrated for the first time. By employing electron beam lithography, the minimum-sized features can be defined with the footprint channel width of 50 nm. For high-quality interface between-GaOand gate dielectric, atomic layer-deposited 15 nm thick aluminum oxide (AlO) was utilized with tri-methyl-aluminum (TMA) self-cleaning surface treatment.

This study compared the willingness to receive human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination and the influencing factors between male and female university students who had never been vaccinated against HPV in China. University students were recruited from seven universities in China. A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect information about demographic characteristics, willingness to HPV vaccination, and possible influencing factors including demographics, knowledge, and attitude toward HPV vaccination.

Tissue engineering is an emerging discipline that combines engineering and life sciences. It can construct functional biological structures or to replace native tissues or organs and minimize serious shortages of donor organs during tissue and organ reconstruction or transplantation. Organ transplantation has achieved success by using the tissue-engineered heart, liver, kidney, and other artificial organs, and the emergence of tissue-engineered bone also provides a new approach for the healing of human bone defects.

Hesperidin (HES) is a flavonoid glycoside found in the tangerine peel and has antioxidant properties. Arsenic trioxide (ATO) is an anti-tumour drug; however, its serious cardiotoxicity limits its clinical application. In addition, the protection of HES against ATO-induced cardiotoxicity has not been explored.

Background: An increasing number of undergraduate students in China have been reported to have psychological problems. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a series of preventive and control measures were implemented, which undoubtedly worsened their psychological health. Coping style and social support were probably important factors that affected the psychological well-being of undergraduate students during the pandemic.

Cephalopods can display variable body color/patterns upon environmental stimulation via bioelectricity-controlled muscle contraction/expansion of skin chromatophores. However, it remains challenging to produce artificial display analogs that exhibit reversible and rapid switching between multiple expected luminescent patterns, although such systems are very appealing for many practical uses (e.g.

Tellurium (Te) is a narrow bandgap semiconductor with a unique chiral crystal structure. The topological nature of electrons in the Te conduction band can be studied by realizing n-type doping using atomic layer deposition (ALD) technique on two-dimensional (2D) Te film. In this work, we fabricated and measured the double-gated n-type Te Hall-bar devices, which can operate as two separate or coupled electron layers controlled by the top gate and back gate.
