SARS-CoV-2 is drastically spread across the globe in a short period of time and affects the lives of billions. There is a need to find the promising drugs like candidates against the inhibition of novel corona virus or SARS-CoV-2. Herein, the interaction on sex hormones (testosterone and progesterone) with Mpro of SARS-CoV-2 was investigated with the help of molecular docking.

Hyaline Vascular Type of Castleman Disease: Diagnostic Pitfalls on Cytology and Its Clinical Relevance.

Castleman disease (CD) is an uncommon cause of lymphadenopathy. The role of fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) as a diagnostic modality in this disease is not well established. Cytological features of CD have a considerable overlap with many reactive conditions.

Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the analytical bias in haematological parameters induced by storage at 33 ºC.

Materials And Methods: Blood from the diversion pouch of 20 blood donors were collected in K EDTA vials and stored at 33 ºC. Readings from each vial were taken at 0, 4, 6, 12, 24, 48 and 72 hours after collection on the Sysmex XP-100 analyser (Sysmex Corporation, Kobe, Japan).

Cysticercosis: Reiterating the role of cytodiagnosis.

Background: Cysticercosis is a common parasitic infection in many Asian countries. The histopathological features of this parasitic infection are well established, however, the subtle cytological features and their importance in diagnosing this condition need more elaboration. In this case series we have reiterated the role of fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) in the diagnosis of cysticercosis in clinically unsuspected cases, thereby obviating the need for a biopsy.

Correlation between cytological and histological grading of breast cancer and its role in prognosis.

Context: Assigning grade to breast cancer on FNAC provides prognostic information and guides optimal therapy.

Aims: The present study was undertaken to grade breast carcinoma on cytology by Robinson's grading system and correlate it with Elstons modified Bloom Richardson histological grading system.

Settings And Design: It is a prospective study done on fifty cases of breast cancer reported on cytology.
