Perovskite quantum dots (PQDs) have attracted more and more attention in light-emitting diode (LED) devices due to their outstanding photoelectric properties. Surface ligands not only enable size control of quantum dots but also enhance their optoelectronic performance. However, the efficiency of exciton recombination in PQDs is often hindered by the desorption dynamics of surface ligands, leading to suboptimal electrical performance.

Giant ovarian cysts (GOCs) have become less common in developed countries due to routine health screenings, but they remain prevalent in economically underdeveloped regions. Treatment options for GOCs depend on factors such as age, cyst characteristics, and pregnancy status. Minimally invasive single-port laparoscopic surgery has largely replaced traditional open surgery due to its aesthetic advantages and effectiveness.

To achieve high-precision 3D reconstruction, a comprehensive improvement has been made to the binocular structured light calibration method. During the calibration process, the calibration object's imaging quality and the camera parameters' nonlinear optimization effect directly affect the caibration accuracy. Firstly, to address the issue of poor imaging quality of the calibration object under tilted conditions, a pixel-level adaptive fill light method was designed using the programmable light intensity feature of the structured light projector, allowing the calibration object to receive uniform lighting and thus improve the quality of the captured images.

Tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMSs) are essential for maintaining driving safety by continuously monitoring critical tire parameters, such as pressure and temperature, in real time during vehicle operation. Among these parameters, tire pressure is the most significant, necessitating the use of highly precise, cost-effective, and energy-efficient sensing technologies. With the rapid advancements in micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) technology, modern automotive sensing and monitoring systems increasingly rely on MEMS sensors due to their compact size, low cost, and low power consumption.

Two identically sized RC beams were fabricated to investigate the effects of explosive loads on the flexural behaviour of Reinforced Concrete (RC) beams. One of the beams was subjected to an explosive load to induce post-explosion damage, and subsequently, both beams underwent flexural capacity testing. Integrating piezoelectric smart aggregates (SAas) within the beams facilitated continuous observation of the damage conditions, allowing for the assessment of internal concrete deterioration from explosive impacts to bending failures.

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the predominant form of lung cancer and poses a significant public health challenge. Early detection is crucial for improving patient outcomes, with serum biomarkers such as carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCCAg), and cytokeratin fragment 19 (CYFRA 21-1) playing a critical role in early screening and pathological classification of NSCLC. However, due to being mainly based on corresponding antibody binding reactions, existing detection technologies for these serum biomarkers have shortcomings such as complex operations, high false positive rates, and high costs.

Background: The clinical efficacies of anticancer drugs are limited by non-selective toxic effects on healthy tissues and low bioavailability in tumor tissue. Therefore, the development of vehicles that can selectively deliver and release drugs at the tumor site is critical for further improvements in patient survival.

Methods: We prepared a CEC nano-drug delivery system, CEC@ZIF-8, with a zeolite imidazole framework-8 (ZIF-8) as a carrier, which can achieve the response of folate receptor (FR).

Interleukin-1 (IL-1) is a pivotal mediator in the pathological progression of osteoarthritis (OA), playing a central role in disease progression. However, the rapid clearance of IL-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1Ra) from the joints may hinder the efficacy of intra-articular IL-1Ra injections in reducing OA-associated pain or cartilage degradation. Sustaining sufficient levels of IL-1Ra within the joints via adeno-associated virus (AAV)-mediated gene therapy presents a promising therapeutic strategy for OA.

: Sodium aescinate (SA) is commonly used topically due to its anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, and anti-swelling properties. However, the clinical application of SA is limited by strong irritation, and cannot be used on the damaged skin and mucous membrane. This study aimed to investigate whether arginine hydrochloride (Arg·HCl) could reduce the rectal mucosal irritation of SA through the formation of a gel.

A series of polyurethanes (PU-GT) were prepared using polyglycolide-block-polytetrahydrofuran-block-polyglycolide (PGA-PTHF-PGA), polytetrahydrofuran homopolymer (PTHF), glycerol, and hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) by a one-pot synthesis method. The non-isothermal crystallization and subsequent heating curves showed that the PTHF component in these polyurethanes could crystallize in a temperature range of -11.5~2.

To investigate the effects of different light qualities on the growth, photosynthesis, transcriptome, and metabolome of mint, three treatments were designed: (1) 7R3B (70% red light and 30% blue light, CK); (2) 7R3B+ far-red light (FR); (3) 7R3B+ ultraviolet light A (UVA). The results showed that supplemental FR significantly promoted the growth and photosynthesis of mint, as evidenced by the increase in plant height, plant width, biomass, effective quantum yield of PSII photochemistry (F'/F'), maximal quantum yield of PSII (F/F), and performance index (PI). UVA and CK exhibited minimal differences.
