Methods: The study included 282 patients with severe COVID-19 from December 2022 to January 2023. Patients were divided into survival and death groups based on 60-day prognosis.
Background: Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is a rare but life-threatening disorder, characterized by a hyperimmune response. The mortality is high despite progress being made in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. HLH is traditionally divided into primary (familial or genetic) and secondary (reactive) according to the etiology.
