Autophagy plays a key role in ischemic stroke, but its mechanism remains to be elucidated. In order to explore the effect of autophagy on ischemic stroke, bibliometric analysis and view tools are used to identify the directions of the global research trends and construct full view of the autophagy in ischemic stroke from 2006 to 2022. The research hotspots of autophagy related to ischemic stroke are visually analyzed and generated various visual maps to display publications, authors, sources, countries, organizations, and keywords.

Childhood maltreatment (CM) poses a serious risk to the physical, emotional and psychological well-being of children, and can advance the development of maladaptive behaviors, including conduct disorder (CD). CD involves repetitive, persistent violations of others' basic rights and societal norms. Little is known about whether and how CM influences the neural mechanisms underlying CD, and CD-characteristic neuroanatomical changes have not yet been defined in a structural magnetic resonance imaging (sMRI) study.

We evaluated the efficacy of bioresorbable sternal reinforcement device (poly-L-lactide sternal pins) on sternal healing after median sternotomy in young children (with body weight less than 10 kg) with congenital heart disease (CHD). Data from 85 patients, who underwent CHD surgery through median sternotomy from October 2016 to May 2018, were collected and analyzed. Sternal pins were utilized in 85 patients (10 mm × 1 mm × 1 mm for patients with body weights less than 5 kg and 15 mm × 2 mm × 2 mm for those weighing between 5 and 10 kg) in addition to sternum closure with Ethicon PDSII running sutures (Group A), while 84 patients received the Ethicon sternal closure (Group B) with no pins.

Objectives: To build a guideline for the individual treatment of Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) with major aortopulmonary collaterals (MAPCAs) and tentatively establish the occlusion index of MAPCAs.

Methods: According to the diameter of the aortopulmonary collaterals (R: mm) and the bodyweight of the children (weight: kg), K= ((∑ )/) was set as the occlusion index of TOF with MAPCAs. A retrospective study was initially performed in 171 patients who suffered from TOF with MAPCAs and underwent cardiac malformation repair to investigate the intervals of the K value: K≥2, 1 View Article and Find Full Text PDF

To explore the grey matter concentration in individuals with cognitive vulnerability to depression.
Methods: Thirty individuals with cognitive vulnerability to depression and thirty age- and gender-matched healthy controls were enrolled in this study, and they were subjected to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination. The grey matter concentration differences were compared between the two groups by using voxel-based morphometry (VBM) following MRI.

A 10-year-old Chinese female diagnosed with an asymptomatic giant cardiac cavernous hemangioma was reported. The patient originally tended to observation because this unusual cardiac tumoral mass was discovered incidentally during routine health examination of transthoracic echocardiography. Over 5 years of follow-up, the mass had enlarged obviously, and the patient visited our outpatient clinic and was prone to excision.

A highly integrated nanocomposite is constructed based on mesoporous silica nanotubes (SiNTs)-loaded with MnO nanoparticles for cervical cancer therapy via T-weighted magnetic resonance imaging and doxorubicin-based chemotherapy. MnO magnetic nanoparticles uniformly distributed within SiNTs can effectively detect the tumor microenvironment, as revealed by clinical T-weighted magnetic resonance imaging. The SiNTs possessed a high loading rate for doxorubicin (DOX) and a simultaneous pH-dependent response release, mainly due to the electrostatic interaction between DOX molecules and the mesoporous silica surface.

Objective: To evaluate dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI in conjunction with MR subtraction in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant breast tumors at 3 Tesla.

Methods: A total of 78 patients with breast tumors enrolled in this study, including 45 malignant lesions and 33 benign lesions verified by histopathology. Dynamic MR contrast enhanced imaging was done by T1 high resolution isotropic volume excitation sequence.

Background And Objective: Proton magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) of the liver in vivo is in experimental phase. MRS observation on liver cancer after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) has seldom been reported. This study was to investigate the value of MRS in assessing the metabolic changes of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after TACE.

Objective: To explore the techniques of RTIP-fMRI scanning and the correspondence between structure and functional changes of motor cortex during self-paced finger movements by RTIP-fMRI in normal volunteers.

Methods: The 15 healthy volunteers were studied by RTIP-fMRI, and the activation tasks consisted of self-paced finger movements performed with the right and the left hands. Image postprocessing was done on the workstation by "correlation coefficient" algorithm analysis method, IAC and SPM software.
