Article Synopsis
  • The latest advancement in perovskite solar cell (PSC) technology focuses on a new technique called thermal imprinting-assisted ion exchange passivation (TIAIEP) that targets surface defects.
  • TIAIEP enhances the performance of PSCs by using a passivator to promote ion exchange specifically at defect sites, creating a compositional gradient that minimizes charge recombination.
  • Devices treated with TIAIEP achieve a power conversion efficiency of 22.29% and display impressive longevity, retaining 91% efficiency after 2000 hours of storage and 90% after 1200 hours of continuous light exposure.

Obesity is an ongoing global health problem, and (CG, chicory) is traditionally used as a hepatoprotective and lipid-lowering drug. However, there is still a lack of research on the role of CG in the treatment of obesity. In the present study, we found that CG significantly delayed weight gain and positively affected glucolipid metabolism disorders, serum metabolism levels, and the degree of liver and kidney oxidative stress in high-fat diet (HFD) mice.

The safety of ethanol in operations and its effects on human health are gradually being questioned. Under this premise, we attempted to use the natural surfactant tea saponin, which originates from the processing residues of camellia oil, as the additive of the extraction solvent and to extract eleutheroside B and eleutheroside E in the roots and rhizomes of E. senticosus by ultrasonic mediation.

Background & Objective: Walnut intake is considered a healthy dietary approach worldwide, particularly as a nutritional tool for the management of obesity and cardiometabolic disorders. Among these lines, leptin and adiponectin, as well as glycemic biomarkers, deserve further attention. We aimed to examine the impact of walnut intake on circulation levels of leptin and adiponectin through a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials (RCTs); secondarily, assessing the glycemic profile as well.
