Two adducts of Eu(III) tris-hexofluoroacetylacetonate with HMPA (OP(N(CH)), hexamethylphosphotriamide) and TPPO (OP(CH), triphenylphosphine oxide) were studied by optical spectroscopy and quantum chemistry (DFT/TD-DFT). The structure of the higher occupied molecular orbitals (MO) of the two adducts determines differences in the position of the excitation band maximum of hfac ligands. According to the calculation data, all excited states are caused by the transition to 3 vacant π* MOs of hfac ligands.

Adducts of tris-nitrates of rare-earth elements Ce(III), Nd(III), Eu(III), and Er(III) with two molecules of 1,10-phenanthroline with formula Ln(NO)(Phen) are studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and quantum chemistry (DFT/TDDFT). The geometric structure for DFT modeling is build using X-ray diffraction data. To analyze the composition and differences of the electronic structure in the series under study, XPS spectra were obtained for which interpretation was performed using calculated data.

The purpose of the work was to assess the influence of the concentrate of red table wine Saperavi on the cultivated nerve cells exposed to glutamate. The selection of Saperavi as the source of phenolic compounds was not accidental: this type of grapes in the Krasnodar region has the highest content of them - up to 4-5 g/dm3 and more. Polyphenol concentrate was prepared by pre-distillation of ethanol using vacuum, evaporation of red table wine with a rotary vaporizer, with the subsequent lyophilic drying.

We present, to the best of our knowledge, the first experimental demonstration of a new imaging system for in situ measurement of the two-dimensional (2D) distribution of the surface temperature of microscopic specimens. The main component of the system is an imaging tandem acousto-optical tunable filter (TAOTF) synchronized with a video camera. A set of TAOTF spectroscopic images (up to a few hundreds) is taken by the TAOTF imaging system to fit the measured spectral curves in each pixel to the Planck radiation function and determine the temperature and emissivity of the sample using the gray body approximation.

We demonstrated an increase in glutamate neurocytotoxicity in cultured cerebellar cells from rat pups subjected to lead poisoning during the prenatal development or early lactation period. The toxic effect of glutamate was weaker, if lead was applied in combination with antioxidant comenic acid. These data are discussed in view of practical use of comenic acid for the therapy of the brain tissues subjected to lead poisoning.

The purpose of the investigation was to study the clinical efficiency of ultraviolet autoblood irradiation (UVABI) used in the complex therapy of children and adolescents with infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis. A controlled randomized study of the results of treatment in two groups of patients who had or had not received UVABI during the standard complex therapy was carried out by the experiment-control principle. The groups were randomized (first - second).

The influence of peptide fractions, discharged of kumys (SK) and a sour milk of Mechnikov (PMS) on some parameters of immunity experimental animal, transferred a stress is investigated. The outcomes of examinations have shown, that SK promotes correction of immune violations called by action of a stress. So the introduction SK animal one day prior to a stress renders expressed immunoregulatory an operation on a content of neutrocytes and metabolism in them, depending from Oxygenium, promotes a raise of number of T lymphocytes in a blood animal transferred a stress.

In experiments on hippocampal slices from young rats subjected to immobilization-cold stress we observed a pronounced increase in the amplitude of long-term potentiation of focal responses in CA1 area. Daily injections of comenic acid during stress exposure normalized parameters of long-term potentiation in the hippocampus.

The specific features of the clinical picture and course of respiratory sarcoidosis (RS) and the efficiency of its treatment were studied in its new cases living in the Perm Region (the West Urals). There was a higher incidence of RS in inhabitants from towns with developed heavy industry, mainly in females. Primary chronic RS was prevalent (89.

The specific features of the clinical presentation and course of respiratory sarcoidosis (S) and the efficiency of its treatment were studied in 109 new cases in the Perm Region. The incidence of S is higher among residents from towns with developed heavy industry, mainly in females. Primary chronic S was predominant (89.

The authors have substantiated and studied the use of lymphotropic (interstitial) injection of 1% isoniazid solution in the complex therapy of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis. The method provides active interstitial functioning of the diseased organ. This leads to a substantial improvement of immediate results of treatment in patients as accelerated closure of decay cavities and double cessation of bacterial isolation.

The effect of baikal skullcap extract on the development of dorsal root ganglia from 1-2-day-old rats in organotypic cultures was studied. Baikal skullcap extract produced a dose-dependent stimulating effect on neurite growth in neurons of dorsal root ganglia.

Effects of balis-2 on exploratory activity in the open field and elevated plus-maze, attention to sensory stimuli of different modalities, elaboration and retention of conditioned reflexes with food reinforcement, were studied in rats under stress. Prolonged treatment of rats with balis-2 seems to normalise integrative activity and metabolism of serotonine and dopamine in the animal brain.

There was investigated that the change of isoenzyme spectrum of laktatdegidrogenaze (LDG) in the dynamic of rats skin wounds healing, and also the activity of some antioxidative enzymes and the accumulation of one lipid peroxidation product (LJO). It was discovered that the enzyme spectrum LDG was reconstructed faster with treated animals by SK preparation. The phase of antioxidative enzymes activity and accumulation of some LFO products were recognized.

A tissue culture was obtained from the sensorimotor cortex of rat embryos after keeping pregnant animals under immobilization-cold stress. The functional state of culture was determined by RNA synthesis intensity. On analysing the tissue morphology, much attention was paid to the pattern of cytoskeleton (microtubules and microfilaments) of neuronal processes.

Reparative processes in the sciatic nerve of rats were studied by histological methods after a cryogenic injury with a combined and separate action of drugs Lactovit and Balise-2. The animals were divided into 5 groups: I--intact animals; II--control animals; III--animals treated with Balise-2; IV--animals treated with Lactovit; V--animals treated with both Balise-2 and Lactovit. In the nerve trunk within 75 days after injury (the maximum period of observation) the amount of thick myelin fibers with a diameter 6.

Peculiarities of immunomodulative action of different mice breeds' SK have been determined by changes of activity level of 5'-nucleotidase in macrophages from peritoneal exudate (MPE) and by changes of animals' sensitivity to staphylococcus infection. It has been established that the character of SK influence on activity level of 5'-nucleotidase in MPE and resistance depends on dose, type of administration and the mice breed. Revealed by hypodermic injection, dependence between the activity of 5'-nucleotidase in MPE and sensitivity to staphylococcus infection, whose character was determined by animals' genotype, had straight character in C57Bl/6 mice, and reverse character in CBA mice.

The ventilation function was studied in 103 pulmonary tuberculosis patients of pneumoconiosis-risk occupations in the absence of pneumoconiosis and in 51 patients who were not exposed to dust. Patients of "dust" occupations were found to have a decrease in the parameters of external respiration and bronchoscopic findings more often showed chronic bronchitis. The initial signs of pneumoconiosis were revealed in the histological examination of surgically removed lung segments in 83.
