Technological prospects of Belt and Road Initiative in Bangladesh.

This study provides an alternative agenda to better explain the Belt and Road Initiative's (BRI's) technological connotations in Bangladesh using the Game Theory and Demand Curve approaches. BRI can proceed as a means to technology development for Bangladesh based on foreign direct investment (FDI) spillover effects that ranked China as the top FDI source, with 1159.42 million USD invested in 2018-2019.

Spatial-temporal dynamic impact of changes in rainfall erosivity and vegetation coverage on soil erosion in the Eastern Mediterranean.

In Syria, soil erosion (SoEr) by water is one of the major challenges for sustainability. Thus, the main goals of this research were to evaluate the spatial changes of SoEr between 2000 and 2018 in the whole coastal basin (CB) of Syria and to provide a soil water erosion risk map for the study area. For this purpose, monthly rainfall data, the SoilGrids dataset, satellite image derived NDVI layers, and Digital Elevation Model (DEM) were collected.

Validating local drivers influencing land use cover change in Southwestern Ghana: a mixed-method approach.

Unlabelled: Addressing undesirable changes associated with the driving forces of land use cover change are critical to sustainable land management, and the future modeling of land use systems in developing countries. The study accentuates local drivers of land use cover change in Southwestern Ghana using a mixed-method approach. The approach aided in identifying key land-use drivers, using different research strategies for comparisons through confidence level analysis and Analytic Hierarchy Process.

A multi-sensory stimulating attention model for cities' taxi service demand prediction.

Taxi demand forecasting is crucial to building an efficient transportation system in a smart city. Accurate taxi demand forecasting could help the taxi management platform to allocate taxi resources in advance, alleviate traffic congestion, and reduce passenger waiting time. Thus, more efforts in industrial and academic circles have been directed towards the cities' taxi service demand prediction (CTSDP).
