Background: Histidine-rich glycoprotein (HRG), a potential prognostic factor in sepsis, lacks clarity regarding its relevance in septic-induced shock, disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) pathogenesis. This study investigated the association between HRG concentrations and these critical conditions.
