Chemical bath deposition (CBD) is an effective technique used to produce high-quality SnO electron transport layers (ETLs) employed in perovskite solar cells (PSCs). By optimizing the CBD process, high-quality SnO films are obtained with minimal oxygen vacancies and close energy level alignment with the perovskite layer. In addition, the 3D perovskite layers are passivated with n-butylammonium iodide (BAI), iso-pentylammonium iodide (PNAI), or 2-methoxyethylammonium iodide (MOAI) to form 3D/2D heterojunctions, resulting in defect passivation, suppressing ion migration and improving charge carrier extraction.

Article Synopsis
  • Materials with zero thermal expansion (ZTE) are rare, while those with positive (PTE) and negative thermal expansion (NTE) are common.
  • This study uses mechanical properties like tensile and bending stiffness to effectively categorize 2D crystals and identify potential ZTE materials.
  • The findings could lead to advanced materials with specific thermal expansion properties, which are important for developing future electronics at very small scales.

As a leading contender to replace lead halide perovskites, tin-based perovskites have demonstrated ever increasing performance in solar cells and light-emitting diodes (LEDs). They tend to be processed with dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) solvent, which has been identified as a major contributor to the Sn(II) oxidation during film fabrication, posing a challenge to the further improvement of Sn-based perovskites. Herein, we use NMR spectroscopy to investigate the kinetics of the oxidation of SnI, revealing that autoamplification takes place, accelerating the oxidation as the reaction progresses.

The outbreak of COVID-19 brings almost the biggest explosions of scientific literature ever. Facing such volume literature, it is hard for researches to find desired citation when carrying out COVID-19 related research, especially for junior researchers. This paper presents a novel neural network based method, called citation relational BERT with heterogeneous deep graph convolutional network (CRB-HDGCN), for COVID-19 inline citation recommendation task.

Backgrounds: Many literature reviews summarized relationships between screen time and child health, but they only included a few studies conducted in Chinese children and adolescents. The potential influence of screen time may vary by social context. The current systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate relationships between screen time and health issues among Chinese school-aged children and adolescents.

Background: Substance use remains a public health problem worldwide, and it is particularly concerning among adolescents because of its harmful effects. There is a need to better understand the factors associated with adolescents' substance use to inform policies for effective prevention.

Methods: We used data from the Global School-based Student Health Surveys.

Background: Adolescents with mental illnesses account for a significant proportion of young people globally. Mental illness is a major public health problem because of its harmful effects on adolescents' development. There is a need to better understand the prevalence and protective factors regarding adolescents' psychological distress to inform policies for effective prevention.

This paper addresses the problem of evaluating vehicle failure modes efficiently during the driving process. Generally, the most critical factors for preventing risk in potential failure modes are identified by the experience of experts through the widely used failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA). However, it has previously been difficult to evaluate the vehicle failure mode with crisp values.

Background And Objectives: Tea consumption may contribute to the management of blood pressure; however, evidence from longitudinal studies is lacking. This study aimed to examine the relationship between habitual tea consumption and trajectories of systolic blood pressure in a community-based sample of Chinese adults aged 60 years or older.

Methods: A prospective cohort of 3870 participants was investigated from 2014 to 2018.

Purpose: We aimed to examine the association between leukocyte-related parameters and the risk of metabolic syndrome (MetS) in community-dwelling older Chinese adults, with a special focus on assessing the diagnostic ability of leukocyte-related parameters in detecting MetS and the potential interaction effect of sex in the leukocyte-MetS relationship.

Methods: Study sample was from the Weitang Geriatric Diseases Study, which included 4579 individuals aged 60 years or above. MetS was diagnosed based on the Adult Treatment Panel III criteria.

Background: Very few studies have focused on the relationship between ambient apparent temperature (AT) and admission of mental and behaviour disorders (MDs). Therefore, a time-series study was conducted in Yancheng, China, to explore the effects of AT on the daily emergency admissions of patients with MDs over the period of 2014-17.

Methods: A quasi-Poisson generalized linear model (GLM) combined with a distributed lag non-linear model (DLNM) was adopted to explore the associations after adjusting for time trend, day of the week, humidity, sunshine duration, rainfall, holidays and air pollutants.

Many studies have indicated that orthostatic hypotension (OH) may be a risk factor for dementia and stroke, but the results have been inconsistent. To further ascertain the links between OH and cognition or stroke, a meta-analysis was performed. The Chinese Biomedical Database, PubMed, Web of Science, and the Cochrane Library database were searched (up to March 2019) to identify prospective cohort studies that examined the associations between OH and the risks of stroke and dementia among adult populations.

The phenomenon of vortex beams passing through a diffraction plate with rotationally symmetric superposition of spiral pinholes array is investigated. The variations of the topological charges of vortex beams are theoretically analyzed, numerically simulated and experimentally observed. It proves that the obtained topological charge value (l) is a combination of that of incident beam (l) and the number of the spiral structures (m).

Appearance of rice grain represents a major character of rice quality in many rice-producing areas of the world, especially in hybrid rice production in China. In this study, we conducted a molecular marker-based genetic analysis of the traits that are determinants of the appearance quality of rice grains, including grain length, grain width and grain shape (measured as grain length to grain width ratio). Two typical indica/japonica varieties Balilla and Nantehao(NTH) were selected to construct Balilla/NTH//Balilla backcross population containing 142 individuals.

C(2)-symmetric bis(oxazolinato)lanthanide complexes of the type [(4R,5S)-Ph(2)Box]La[N(TMS)(2)](2), [(4S,5R)-Ar(2)Box]La[N(TMS)(2)](2), and [(4S)-Ph-5,5-Me(2)Box]La[N(TMS)(2)](2) (Box = 2,2'-bis(2-oxazoline)methylenyl; Ar = 4-tert-butylphenyl, 1-naphthyl; TMS = SiMe(3)) serve as precatalysts for the efficient enantioselective intramolecular hydroamination/cyclization of aminoalkenes and aminodienes. These new catalyst systems are conveniently generated in situ from the known metal precursors Ln[N(TMS)(2)](3) or Ln[CH(TMS)(2)](3) (Ln = La, Nd, Sm, Y, Lu) and 1.2 equiv of commercially available or readily prepared bis(oxazoline) ligands such as (4R,5S)-Ph(2)BoxH, (4S,5R)-Ar(2)BoxH, and (4S)-Ph-5,5-Me(2)BoxH.
