Doctor interaction behavior, patient participation in value co-creation and patient satisfaction: cross-sectional survey in a tertiary-level hospital from Guangzhou, China.

Value co-creation can be defined as the joint benefit that is created by patients and medical service providers through the integration of their respective resources. Participation and interaction between doctors and patients can generate an outcome that benefits both sides. Relevant studies of value co-creation in the healthcare field are limited.

Path analysis of social engagement, loneliness and cognitive function among Chinese older adults.

This study established a research model to fully understand the relationship of social engagement, loneliness and cognitive function among Chinese older adults. In the latest wave (2018) of the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS), a total of 12,852 participants aged 65 years and older were included in the study. Path analysis was performed to examine our hypotheses.

Factors associated with access to healthcare services for older adults with limited activities of daily living.

Background: Limited studies focused on the situation and related factors of access to healthcare services for older adults with limited activities of daily living (ADL) in China. This study explores factors associated with access to healthcare services of them based on Andersen's healthcare utilization model (namely, need, predisposing, and enabling dimensions).

Methods: A total of 3,980 participants aged 65 years and older adults with limited ADL from the latest wave (2018) of the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS) were included.

Objectives: Value co-creation focuses on customer participation and co-creates value with suppliers. Patients' support and cooperation can improve the quality of medical care. Value creation is closely related to participants' behavior.

A Map-Based Service Supporting Different Types of Geographic Knowledge for the Public.

The internet enables the rapid and easy creation, storage, and transfer of knowledge; however, services that transfer geographic knowledge and facilitate the public understanding of geographic knowledge are still underdeveloped to date. Existing online maps (or atlases) can support limited types of geographic knowledge. In this study, we propose a framework for map-based services to represent and transfer different types of geographic knowledge to the public.
