This study evaluated the effects of oral mucosal transplantation on epidermal growth factor (EGF) and vascular endothelial growth factor C (VEGF-C) in skin wound repair. Sixty-four rats were randomly separated into group A, B, C and D (16 rats in each group). The right abdomen skin was excised 1, 3, 5 and 7 days after injury, respectively.
