Objective: The aim: To determine the clinical, instrumental and biochemical factors associated with the degree of physical recovery in patients suffered from acute coronary syndrome (ACS) at the completion of in-hospital rehabilitation period.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: We enrolled 88 patients (all were males); 77 patients had ACS/STEMI and 11 with ACS/unstable angina. The mean age was (median, interquartile range) was 58 (49-64) years.

[Metabolic disturbances as a factor of the pathogenesis of hypertensive disease and its clinical outcomes].

Aim: To identify and determine the mechanisms of an association between arterial hypertension (AH) and proatherogenic systemic metabolic disturbances in hypertensive disease (HD), as well as the possibility of eliminating these disturbances by antihypertensivetherapy.

Subjects And Methods: Fifty-four patients with HD and 64 persons randomly selected from an unorganized urban population were examined. Systolic and diastolic blood pressure (BP), insulin sensitivity, the most important metabolic parameters of lipids, lipoproteins, and glucose, the degree of systemic inflammation and oxidative stress, and the rate of lipoprotein proatherogenic and immunogenic modification were determined.

Disclosure of potential conflicts of interest is used by biomedical journals to guarantee credibility and transparency of the scientific process. Conflict of interest disclosure, however, is not systematically nor consistently dealt with by journals. Recent joint editorial efforts paved the way towards the implementation of uniform vehicles for conflicts of interest disclosure.

[Multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells of the autologous bone marrow accelerate healing indolent gastric ulcers].

The influence of cultivated multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells (MMSC) of the autologous bone marrow on activity of wound healing processes was studied using the model of long-indolent autoimmune gastric ulcer in rats. MMSC of the bone marrow when under the state of stress inhibition do not possess optimal and regulatory activity. Precultivated MMSC of the bone marrow accelerate the processes of regeneration of the gastric ulcer.

[Use of precultivative multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells isolated from autologic bone marrow in treatment of non-healing autoimmune gastric ulcers].

It is shown that multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells (MMSC) grafted to the zone of ulcer defect contribute to better wound repair in case of chronic non-healing gastric ulcers. It is noted that precultivative MMSC isolated from bone marrow achieve their bioregulatory activity in patient's organism not at once but due to prolonged functioning in the grafting zone (not less than 30 days).

[Improvement of myocardial remodelling and functioning in patients undergoing surgical treatment of chronic cardiac insufficiency by two-staged elevation of the immunoregulatory reserve of autological bone marrow cells and their intramyocardial application].

The aim of the investigation was to study a possibility to improve left ventricular (LV) volume and function remodelling in patients with chronic cardiac insufficiency (CCI) by means oftwo-stage bone marrow cell (BMC) activation: first in vivo and then ex vivo within the process of their cultivation. Two groups of CCI patients were recruited. Group 1 (controls) consisted of 50 patients undergoing conventional aorto-coronary bypass surgery (ACBS).
