Purpose: Network analysis is a statistical method that explores the complex interrelationships among variables by representing them as nodes and edges in a network structure. This study aimed to examine the interconnections between family functioning, anxiety, and depression among vocational school students through network analysis approach.
Participants And Methods: A sample of 2728 higher vocational school students participated in a survey utilizing the Family APGAR Index Questionnaire (APGAR), Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7), and Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9).
Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases have surpassed cancer as significant global health challenges, which mainly include atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction, hemorrhagic stroke and ischemia stroke. The inflammatory response immediately following these diseases profoundly impacts patient prognosis and recovery. Efficient resolution of inflammation is crucial not only for halting the inflammatory process but also for restoring tissue homeostasis.

TB (Aeribacillus pallidus G5 and Parageobacillus toebii G12) inoculation led to remarkable improvement of the compost temperature, prolonging of the thermophilic stage and shortening of the composting process, resulting in increased manure harmlessness (GI ≥ 70%), compost humification, and greenhouse gas emission reduction (14.19%-22.

Background/aim: Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a leading cause of cancer-related mortality, yet its underlying molecular mechanisms remain poorly understood. Previous research has identified the pseudogene KRT17P3 as a key player in NSCLC chemoresistance, but its functional role in tumor development has not been thoroughly investigated.
Materials And Methods: In this study, we utilized in vitro assays to evaluate the impact of KRT17P3 on NSCLC cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT).
Prolonged and widespread use of pyrethroid pesticides a significant concern for human health. The initial step in pyrethroid bioremediation involves the hydrolysis of ester-bond. In the present study, the esterase genes est10 and est13, derived from Bacillus subtilis, were successfully cloned and expressed in Escherichia coli.

Methods: ScRNA-seq data from syngeneic and allogeneic islet transplantation grafts were obtained from GSE198865. Seurat was used for filtering and clustering, and UMAP was used for dimension reduction.
Rationale And Objectives: We aimed at developing and validating a nomogram and machine learning (ML) models based on radiomics score (Radscore), morphology, and PHASES to predict intracranial aneurysm (IA) rupture.
Materials And Methods: We collected 440 patients with IAs in our hospital from 2015 to 2023, totaling 475 IAs (214 ruptured and 261 unruptured). A 7:3 random split was utilized to allocate participants into training and testing sets.
Objective: This systematic review aims to assess the accuracy of the COMPASS-CAT tool in predicting venous thromboembolism (VTE) among cancer patients.
Methods: Relevant studies were searched in PubMed, Web of Science, The Cochrane Library, Embase, CINAHL, OVID, CBM, CNKI, WanFang Data, and VIP database from their inception up to April 19, 2023. The quality of studies was appraised using the diagnostic test accuracy study bias assessment tool (QUADAS-2).
Background: This study aimed to explore the mechanism of Ge-Gen-Qin-Lian decoction (GGQLD) in the alleviation of symptoms of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) by network pharmacology and experimental validation.
Methods: The active components and targets of GGQLD were identified from the TCMSP database. The potential therapeutic targets of T2DM and IBD were identified from the GEO database and 4 online disease target databases.
Normal hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) inherently accumulate somatic mutations and lose clonal diversity with age, processes implicated in the development of myeloid malignancies . The impact of exogenous stressors, such as cancer chemotherapies, on the genomic integrity and clonal dynamics of normal HSPCs is not well defined. We conducted whole-genome sequencing on 1,032 single-cell-derived HSPC colonies from 10 patients with multiple myeloma (MM), who had undergone various chemotherapy regimens.

We have evaluated the impact of lactational TCS on UDP-glucuronosyltransferase 1A1 (UGT1A1) expression and bilirubin metabolism in humanized UGT1 (hUGT1) neonatal mice. In hUGT1 mice, expression of the hepatic UGT1A1 gene is developmentally delayed resulting in elevated total serum bilirubin (TSB) levels.

Lactiplantibacillus plantarum RS20D has demonstrated the ability to remove both DBP and MBP in vitro, suggesting its potential as a detoxifying agent against these compounds. This study aimed to investigate the protective effects of RS20D on DBP or MBP-induced male reproductive toxicity in adolescent rats.

Here we report a case of multiple postoperative complications after hysterectomy following MWA.
Patient Concerns: A 44-year-old female was admitted due to progressive abdominal pain during menstruation for 30 years and no relief 1 year after MWA.
High-sucrose diets are common in daily life but harmful to human health. leaves (CPL) are a kind of tea used to alleviate metabolic diseases and are widely used in China. However, the effects of CPL on high-sucrose-induced obesity are unknown.

Methods: Data from 665 Western China individuals encompassed MoCA scores and saccade performance. The study examined how education level and age influenced these assessments and highlighted the contrasting abilities of these measures in detecting cognitive abnormalities.
Background: Intracranial aneurysm (IA) is a common cerebrovascular disease and the leading cause of spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage. Recent evidence suggests that gut microbiota is involved in the pathophysiological process of IA through the gut-brain axis. However, the role of gut inflammation in the development of IA has yet to be clarified.

However, the distribution and relationships of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs), heavy metal resistance genes (HMRGs), and virulence factors (VFs) and their transmission mechanisms remain unclear. Therefore, we investigated the resistance of Escherichia coli, the prevalence of its ARGs, HMRGs, and VFs, and their transmission mechanisms in livestock fresh feces (FF), composted feces (CF), and fertilized soil (FS).

During the process of EBI, a substantial quantity of iron permeates into the subarachnoid space and brain tissue, thereby raising concerns regarding its metabolism. To investigate the role and metabolic processes of excessive iron in neurons, we established both in vivo and in vitro models of SAH.

Methods: A total of 107 patients with fecal incontinence who were admitted to the ICU of the First Affiliated Hospital of Gannan Medical University from May 2017 to April 2023 were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 68 cases in the observation group and 39 cases in the control group. The observation group was given a double-capsule fecal catheter device, and the control group was given an ordinary fecal catheter device for drainage.
Traditional fermented milk from the western Sichuan plateau of China has a unique flavor and rich microbial diversity. This study explored the quality formation mechanism in fermented milk inoculated with NZ4 and SY11 (MFM), the dominant microorganisms isolated from traditional dairy products in western nan. The results indicated that MFM displayed better overall quality than the milk fermented with NZ4 (LFM) and SY11 (KFM), respectively.
