The introduction of China's double carbon target has led to a new stage in the development of China's low-carbon economy, while the development of China's green finance is also facing new challenges. Based on the determining of the relationship between low-carbon economy and green finance, this study selected the Yangtze River Delta city cluster of China, an exemplary region for the development of low-carbon economy and green finance, constructed a multi-level comprehensive index system covering two systems of low-carbon economy and green finance and conducted a coupled and coordinated relationship analysis based on the panel data of green finance and low-carbon economy-related indicators from 2016 to 2020. The empirical results showed that the interaction between the low-carbon economy system and the green finance system in the Yangtze River Delta region gradually weakened during 2016-2020, and the mechanism of interaction between the two systems has not been fully developed and utilized.

The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) is one of the most densely built and economically vibrant regions in China, it is of vital importance to study the spatio-temporal heterogeneity and influence mechanisms of its carbon emissions against the backdrop of peaking carbon dioxide emissions and achieving carbon neutrality. However, systematic research on this area is still lacking. Therefore, this study uses spatial autocorrelation, kernel density estimation, and standard deviation ellipses to construct an exploratory spatial data analysis (ESDA) framework to analyze the spatio-temporal evolutionary characteristics of carbon emissions from GBA and combine it with the geographically and temporally weighted regression (GTWR) model to identify the various influencing factors of carbon emissions in GBA and reveal its implications.

Objective: This study seeks to explore the efficacy and prognosis of stereotactic aspiration for malignant middle cerebral artery infarction (mMCAI).

Methods: A total of 50 mMCAI patients who were diagnosed and treated in our hospital from January 2018 to June 2020 were collected and then randomly divided into control group (decompressive craniectomy,  = 24) and study group (stereotactic aspiration,  = 26). After 1 and 6 months of treatment, the scores of the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), Barthel Index, and modified Rankin Scale (mRS) were used to evaluate the therapeutic effect.

The participation of lattice oxygen in the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) process has been proved to be faster in kinetics than the mechanisms where only metal is involved, although activating the lattice oxygen in the traditional rigid structures remains a big challenge. In this work, efforts are devoted to exploring a new flexible structure that is competent in providing large amounts of oxygen vacancies as well as offering the freedom to manipulate the electronic structure of metal cations. This is demonstrated by anchoring low valence state Co at high valence state Nb sites in the tetragonal tungsten bronze (TTB)-structured SrBaNb Co O , with different ratios of Co to Nb to optimize the Co substitution proportion.

The expression of epidermal growth factor (EGF) is increased during liver fibrogenesis, and EGF receptor (EGFR) antagonist could attenuate liver fibrosis. Since EGFR is highly expressed by hepatocytes and cholangiocytes in cirrhotic liver, whether hepatic stellate cells express EGFR in response to EGF still needs exploration. Although EGFR antagonist could attenuate liver fibrosis, many ligands with EGF-like domains, besides EGF, can function through EGFR.

Nanoscale structural modulation with different layer numbers in layer-structured complex oxides of the binary BiTiO-BiFeO system can give rise to intriguing phenomena and extraordinary properties, originating from the correlated interfaces of two different phases with different strain states. In this work, we studied the nanoscale structural modulation induced by Co-substitution in the Aurivillius-type oxide of BiFeTiO with a unique and naturally occurred mixed-layer structure. Nanoscale structural evolution via doping occurred from the phase-modulated structure composed of 4- and 5-layer phases to a homogeneous 4-layer structure was clearly observed utilizing x-ray diffraction and electron micro-techniques.

Exchange anisotropy is normally observed at ferromagnetic (FM)/anti-ferromagnetic (AFM) interfaces and also usually at low temperatures. An effective way to find new single-phase materials with strong exchange bias (EB) and high operation temperatures is required for making them useful in practical applications of future spintronic devices. In this work, the exchange bias behaviors of single phase BiFeTiO (BFT) were found able to be manipulated by altering its spin glassy state, when the material was intentionally prepared in the nanobelt format.
