Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2) virus, has spread worldwide since 2019. Several studies report that adult patients hospitalized with severe COVID-19 can be treated successfully with remdesivir (RDV). However, few studies report the safety and efficacy of RDV for children.
