Several studies have reported structural and functional abnormalities of the amygdala caused by methamphetamine addiction. However, it is unknown whether abnormalities in amygdala function persist in long-term methamphetamine abstainers. In this study, 38 long-term male methamphetamine abstainers (>12 months) and 40 demographically matched male healthy controls (HCs) were recruited.

This study thus aimed to compare demographic characteristics, gaming patterns, personality traits, and gaming motivations among players in different game genres, as well as identify the associated characteristics of genre-specific IGD.
Methods: Internet games were classified into four types: role-playing games (RPGs), strategy (STR) games, action shooter (ACS) games, and brain and skill (BRS) games.
Background: Chinese gamers use computer and mobile phone games widely. Consequently, concerns regarding the development of internet gaming disorder (IGD) in adolescents have been raised. However, only a few studies have focused on the influence of gaming devices on IGD.

However, there is limited knowledge regarding the effects of CCRT combined with aerobic exercise on cognitive function and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) levels in patients with schizophrenia and cognitive impairment. Ninety-six patients with schizophrenia and cognitive impairment were included in this study and randomly divided into control, aerobic exercise (AE), and CCRT combined with aerobic exercise (CAE) groups.

Aside from the physical manifestations of COVID-19, patients are also victims of severe social stigmatization. Stigma affects not only COVID-19 patients or survivors, but also individuals associated with them.

This study aimed to construct a screening tool to evaluate the risk of gaming disorder (GD) development, by assessing the severity of GD symptoms among Chinese gamers, based on clinical expert interviews, structured interviews with GD patients, a background literature review, and IGD/GD criteria proposed by the DSM-5 and ICD-11. It introduced the Gaming Hazard Assessment Scale-a multidimensional GD risk screening tool-and evaluated the dimension structure, reliability, and validity of the scale among 959 Chinese gamers.

Based on the detection capability of LSS targets and their threat characteristics, this paper proposes a threat evaluation factor and threat degree quantization function in line with the characteristics of LSS targets. LSS targets not only have the same threat characteristics as traditional air targets but also have the unique characteristics of flexible mobility and dynamic mission planning.

This study examined substance and Internet use behavior and their associations with anxiety and depression during the COVID-19 pandemic. An online self-report questionnaire was administered to 2196 Chinese adults between February 17 and 29, 2020.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the correlation of brain networks in MA abstainers. In this study, 47 people detoxified for at least 14 months and 44 normal people took a resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (RS-fMRI) scan.

A better understanding of the underlying neurobiological mechanism in the brains of methamphetamine abstainers will help to explain their abnormal behaviors. Forty-two male methamphetamine abstainers, currently in a long-term abstinence status (for at least 14 months), and 32 male healthy controls were recruited.

The study aims to obtain preliminary knowledge of the recognition of GD in China.
Methods: A total of 223 Chinese patients who met both the ICD-11 and DSM-5 criteria for GD participated in the study, and a self-administered questionnaire was used to collect demographic information, gaming use characteristics, and previous diagnoses.
Internet gaming is extremely popular in China. However, some players overuse it, with negative outcomes. Knowing the prevalence rate and specific risk factors can provide a better understanding of the etiology of Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD).

Methods: Rats were treated with 25 mg/kg ketamine for 3 d (n = 20) or 14 d (n = 20). Saline-treated rats were used as controls.
Background: Chinese college students are at high risk of sleep problems, and smartphone use is common among this population. However, the relationship between smartphone use characteristics and sleep problems in Chinese college students has been inadequately studied. In this preliminary study, we examined the association of poor sleep quality with smartphone use in a sample of Chinese college students from a health vocational college in Changsha, China.

However, the GMV of brains in these individuals after long-term abstinence is poorly understood. Moreover, individuals with severe methamphetamine use disorder have been considered to have high levels of impulsivity, but the biological mechanism is still unclear.

Although methamphetamine-related neurofunctional differences have been investigated, few studies have examined neural responses to drug and sexual cues with respect to shorter or longer term methamphetamine abstinence in individuals with methamphetamine dependence.
Methods: Forty-nine men with shorter term methamphetamine abstinence, 50 men with longer term methamphetamine abstinence, and 47 non-drug-using healthy comparison men completed a functional magnetic resonance imaging cue-reactivity task consisting of methamphetamine, sexual, and neutral visual cues.

By applying compressive sensing to infrared imaging systems, the sampling and transmitting time can be remarkably reduced. Therefore, in order to meet the real-time requirements of infrared small target detection tasks in the remote sensing field, many approaches based on compressive sensing have been proposed. However, these approaches need to reconstruct the image from the compressive domain before detecting targets, which is inefficient due to the complex recovery algorithms.

Our study includes 40 healthy controls and 44 abstinent methamphetamine-dependent (AMD) subjects who have abstained for at least 14 months. For every AMD subject, the age when they first used MA, the total time of MA use, the frequency of MA use in the last month before abstinence, the duration of abstinence and the craving score were recorded.

Aimed at space-based passive detection and tracking of ballistic targets, a multi-target multi-Bernoulli (MeMber) filtering algorithm based on a focal plane ambiguous measurement model is proposed. The measurement error sources of space-based passive detection are analyzed. It is found that focal plane target tracking is the basis of space target tracking in the framework of the distributed data processing structure, and the main error of focal plane measurement is pixel resolution.

However, patterns of brain activity following cue-reactivity in subjects with long-term MA abstinence, especially long-term compulsory drug rehabilitation, have not been well studied. To enrich knowledge in this field, functional brain imaging was conducted during a cue-reactivity paradigm task in 28 individuals with MA use disorder following long-term compulsory drug rehabilitation, and 27 healthy control subjects.

Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a common and devastating psychiatric disorder characterized by persistent low mood, cognitive disorder, and impaired social function. Despite its complex mechanisms, increasing evidence has identified the involvement of neurotrophic factors, inflammatory cytokines, the hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis, and glutamate receptors in the pathophysiology of this illness. The present review synthesizes recent research achievements to define the network between different hypotheses of MDD and to understand which part is most pivotal for its pathogenesis.
