BACKGROUND International studies have shown that use of a subcutaneous implantable cardioverter defibrillator (S-ICD) could reduce lead-related complications while maintaining adequate defibrillation performance; however, data from the Chinese population or other Asian groups are limited. MATERIAL AND METHODS SCOPE is a prospective, multicenter, observational cohort study. Two hundred patients with primary prevention indication for sudden cardiac death (SCD), who are candidates for S-ICD, will be enrolled.

Therefore, we aimed to compare the efficacy and safety of ultrafiltration with diuretics and provide information and evidence as to the best approach for patients with HF.
Methods: In this single-center, non-randomized interventional study patients with HF either received diuretics or ultrafiltration.
Levosimendan is a calcium sensitizer used for managing heart failure (HF) because of its inotropic and vasodilatory effects. As many patients do not respond to levosimendan as a monotherapy, it may be necessary to combine it with other diuretic agents such as recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide (rhBNc P). The aim of this study was to investigate efficacy of levosimendan when combined with rhBNP in patients with diuretic resistance and low ejection fraction (EF) rate.

We aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of the combination therapy with LAAC and AF CA in a single procedure based on the multicenter data and medium-term follow-up results.
Methods: A total of 122 AF patients with a mean CHADS-VASc score of 4.
To investigate the effectiveness and safety of using the Ensite NavX three-dimensional (3D) mapping system during Radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) of left accessory pathway (AP) disorders. A total of 227 patients having their left AP treated by RFCA, were classified into study group (n = 112) and the control group (n = 115). X-ray irradiation time and exposure doses during the course of the operations were recorded.

Methods: Global gene expression profiling in peripheral blood was used to explore differentially expressed genes in coronary artery stenosis patients. RNA was extracted from peripheral blood of 9 controls without coronary stenosis and 21 cases with angiographically CAD.
Background: Although it has been shown to be superior to simple antithrombotic drug therapy, most patients are unable to receive timely percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and are treated with conventional triple antithrombotic therapy (aspirin, clopidogrel, low-molecular-weight heparin). Here, we evaluate the efficacy and safety of adding low-dose tirofiban to this regimen.
Methods: A total of 1,783 patient records (unable to receive PCI) indicating non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS) were included.
We conducted a prospective, single-center, active controlled study from July 2013 to January 2015, in Chinese patients with rapid ventricular arrhythmia who had received radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) treatment to determine formation of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis (LDVT) post RFCA procedure, and evaluated the effect of rivaroxaban on LDVT. Patients with asymptomatic pulmonary thromboembolism who had not received any other anticoagulant and had received no more than 36 hours of treatment with unfractionated heparin were included. Post RFCA procedure, patients received either rivaroxaban (10 mg/d for 14 days beginning 2-3 hours post-operation; n = 86) or aspirin (100 mg/d for 3 months beginning 2-3 hours post-operation; n = 90).

The purpose of this study is to prepare 99mTc-HEDTMP [N-(2-hydroxyethyl) ethlenediamine-1,1,2-tri (methylene phosphonic acid), a new kind of bone seeking compound; to investigate its biological properties; and to explore the possibility of using it as a potential radiopharmaceutical for skeleton scintigraphy. HEDTMP was labeled with 99mTc by "pretinning" method, the radiochemical purity was 97.00% +/- 0.
