Linear B-cell epitopes have a prominent role in the development of peptide-based vaccines and disease diagnosis. High variability in the length of these epitopes is a major reason for low accuracy in their prediction. Most of the B-cell epitope prediction methods considered fixed length of epitope sequences and achieved good accuracy.

In the present study, the genetic diversity of newly developed elite lines derived from and crosses were estimated by 38 reported molecular markers. The markers used in the study consist of 24 gene-based and 14 random markers related to grain yield-related QTLs distributed across the rice genome.

The management of JNA has evolved greatly with development of endoscopy. Treatment modality has changed from open approach to endoscopic approach due to various advantages offered by the endoscopic approach.

The current study formulates bifunctional low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) coated nanosilver as an effective anticoagulant and antimicrobial/anti-biofilm agent. Nanosilver formulations were prepared using a microwave-assisted green synthesis approach and stabilized with pharmaceutically approved LMWH such as dalteparin (DL) and enoxaparin (EX) along with unfractionated heparin (HP) as a control.

It is integrated with multiple sensors to collect inertial data while a person walks. However, captured data may be affected by several covariate factors due to variations of gait sequences such as holding loads, wearing types, shoe types, etc.

Design: A mixed-methods approach using a multicentre online Delphi technique.
Setting: Two large tertiary hospitals in urban India.
Background: Medical faculty and residents have a key role in the reporting of adverse events associated with medical devices. However, at present, there are no published data regarding their knowledge, attitude, and practice about materiovigilance in India.
Materials And Methods: This was a cross-sectional questionnaire-based survey done among medical faculty and residents of a tertiary care institution of national importance.
In the wake of the ongoing Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, a new epidemic of COVID associated mucormycosis (CAM) emerged in India. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment of this deadly disease are of paramount importance in improving patient survival. MRI is the cornerstone of diagnosis of early extrasinus disease, particularly intracranial complications which have traditionally been associated with a high mortality rate.

The current study aims to know the occurrence of level IIb lymph node positivity in tongue carcinoma. Methods This cross-sectional study was conducted from January 2019 to December 2019 in a tertiary care center in North India.

It is infrequently observed among immunocompetent children and young adults, and Mycobacterium is much less common among the various bacterial and fungal etiological causes noted. We report a rare case of a 17-year immunocompetent girl who presented with complaints of head and neck pain and restricted neck movements.

The genomic prediction accuracy was measured using Pearson's correlation coefficient between the genomic estimated breeding value (GEBV) and the observed phenotypic data using a fivefold cross-validation approach with 100 replications. The Bayesian alphabets performed better for the traits governed by a few genes/QTLs with relatively larger effects.

Unlabelled: In the present study in wheat, GWAS was conducted for identification of marker trait associations (MTAs) for the following six grain morphology traits: (1) grain cross-sectional area (GCSA), (2) grain perimeter (GP), (3) grain length (GL), (4) grain width (GWid), (5) grain length-width ratio (GLWR) and (6) grain form-density (GFD). The data were recorded on a subset of spring wheat reference set (SWRS) comprising 225 diverse genotypes, which were genotyped using 10,904 SNPs and phenotyped for two consecutive years (2017-2018, 2018-2019). GWAS was conducted using five different models including two single-locus models (CMLM, SUPER), one multi-locus model (FarmCPU), one multi-trait model (mvLMM) and a model for Q x Q epistatic interactions.

COVID-19 can be associated with a suppressed immune response and/or hyperinflammatory state due to cytokine storm. Reduced immunity, combined with steroid usage to prevent cytokine storm along with various pre-existing co morbidities can prove to be a fertile ground for various secondary bacterial and fungal infection, including mucormycosis.
