The difference in glacier surface elevation is a sensitive indicator of climate change and is also important for disaster warning and water supply. In this paper, 25 glaciers on Bogda Mountain, in the eastern Tianshan Mountains, are selected as the study object as they are typical of glaciers in arid or semi-arid areas with importance for water supply. The Repeat Orbit Interferometry (ROI) method is used to survey the surface elevation of these glaciers using Sentinel-1A Radar data from 2017.

Glacier melting is one of the important causes of glacier morphology change and can provide basic parameters for calculating glacier volume change and glacier mass balance, which, in turn, is important for evaluating water resources. However, it is difficult to obtain large-scale time series of glacier changes due to the cloudy and foggy conditions which are typical of mountain areas. Gravity-measuring satellites and laser altimetry satellites can monitor changes in glacier volume over a wide area, while synthetic-aperture radar satellites can monitoring glacier morphology with a high spatial and temporal resolution.

Every pixel in a hyperspectral image contains detailed spectral information in hundreds of narrow bands captured by hyperspectral sensors. Pixel-wise classification of a hyperspectral image is the cornerstone of various hyperspectral applications. Nowadays, deep learning models represented by the convolutional neural network (CNN) provides an ideal solution for feature extraction, and has made remarkable achievements in supervised hyperspectral classification.

Myricetin (MyR), a naturally occurring flavonol widely distributed in fruits, vegetables, and medicinal plants, has anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antihyperlipidaemic, and antiobesity activities. In the present study, we hypothesized that the antiobesity property of MyR is mediated via suppression of differentiation of preadipocytes into adipocytes and promotion of lipolysis of mature adipocytes, which effectively decrease the intracellular triglyceride concentration of adipocytes. Accordingly, the aim of this work was to investigate the effects of MyR on adipocyte differentiation and lipolysis in differentiated 3 T3-L1 adipocytes.
