Cordyceps militaris, Chinese traditional medicinal fungus, has many bioactive properties. Cordycepin (3'-deoxyadenosine) is a major bioactive component of C. militaris.

Study on the interaction of hyperoside and human serum albumin in V and V -free environments by spectroscopic and molecular docking techniques.

The interaction between hyperoside and human serum albumin was studied in vitamin C (V ) and V -free environments using ultraviolet (UV)-vis absorption, fluorescence, circular dichroism spectra, and molecular docking techniques under simulated physiological conditions. The two environments had different influences on the secondary structure of human serum albumin (HSA). The α-helix content was slightly increased from 50% to 51% in the V environment and increased from 50% to 55% in the V -free environment.

Yeast species associated with wine grapes in China.

Having more information on the yeast ecology of grapes is important for wine-makers to produce wine with high quality and typical attributes. China is a significant wine-consuming country and is becoming a serious wine-producer, but little has been reported about the yeast ecology of local ecosystems. This study provides the first step towards the exploitation of the yeast wealth in China's vine-growing regions.
