Objective: To study the effect of self-prepared Qingfeixuanxie Decoction on the clinical symptoms, lung function and inflammatory response of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in the acute exacerbation stage (AECOPD).

Methods: A total of 96 AECOPD patients were equally randomized into a control group and an observation group. Fourteen days after treatment, the clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated, and the clinical symptom scores, lung function, blood gas indicators, serum inflammatory response marker levels, the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), the Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), the sleep quality score and quality of life score between the two groups before and after treatment were compared.

Isoflurane (ISO) protects the heart from hypoxia-reperfusion injury. However, the molecular mechanisms of ISO in oxygen-glucose deprivation (OGD)-induced H9c2 cardiomyocyte injury is yet to be understood. Using H9c2 cells cultured in vitro, we examined the cytotoxicity of different doses of ISO (0.

Objective: To observe the effects of sevoflurane treatment on lung inflammation in rats with lipopoIysaccharide-induced acute lung injury (ALI).

Methods: The rat model of ALI was established by intratracheal instillation of lipopolysaccharide (LPS). 45 infantile SD rats [body weight (272±15) g] were randomly divided into 3 groups (n=15): control group, LPS group, sevoflurane group.
