Background: The rate of incidence of metabolic dysfunction-related fatty liver disease (MAFLD) has rapidly increased globally in recent years, but early diagnosis is still a challenge. The purpose of this systematic review and meta-analysis is to identify visfatin for early diagnosis of MAFLD.
Methods: We strictly adhered to the relevant requirements of Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guidelines.
Background: Evidence shows that cancer patients are more likely to have hyperuricemia (HUA) compared to the general population, with lipid metabolism playing a significant role. However, it is still unclear whether there is a non-linear relationship between the non-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (NHHR) and HUA in these patients. This study aims to explore the association between NHHR and HUA in cancer patients.

Herein, an A-site high-entropy perovskite composite LaBaSrCaCeCoO-CeO (LBSCCC-CeO) air-electrode material is fabricated a one-step self-constructing strategy, which shows excellent oxygen reduction activity and stability due to the high-entropy structure and the synergy effect between LBSCCC and interfacial CeO. This work provides a new way of fabricating high-performance air-electrodes in IT-SOFCs.

The literature about the relationship between circulating omentin and MAFLD is conflicting. Therefore, this meta-analysis evaluated circulating omentin levels in patients with MAFLD compared with healthy controls to explore the role of omentin in MAFLD.

Methods: We searched five databases and other sources until December 16, 2021. Standardized mean difference (SMD) and 95% confidence interval (CI) were the overall outcomes.
An increasing number of young women suffer from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Reasonable diagnosis and monitoring are important steps in the treatment of PCOS. Therefore, we performed an updated meta-analysis between adropin levels and PCOS to identify their relationship.

Doxorubicin-induced liver injury was treated with different doses of AST, and the body weight, food intake, urinalysis, liver function, and oxidative stress indexes were examined. The hepatocyte apoptosis level, pathological sections of liver tissue and the expression of antioxidant related genes were also determined.

The excessive ammonia nitrogen (EAN) content in the CFFW wastewater represented a major factor limiting the algal growth. A strategy of mixing CFFW with municipal wastewater (MW) that contained less ammonia nitrogen was adopted.
