Changes in precipitation patterns, including rainfall intensity and rainfall timing, have been extensively demonstrated to impact biological processes and associated ecosystem functions. However, less attention has been paid to the effects of rainfall intensity and rainfall timing on the assembly of detritivore communities and the decomposition rate of detritus such as animal dung. In this study, the immunomodulatory effect of sea buckthorn (SBT) pulp oil was elucidated in immunosuppressed Balb/c mice induced by cyclophosphamide (CTX). The results showed that SBT pulp oil could reverse the decreasing trend of body weight, thymus/spleen index and hematological parameters induced by CTX. Compared with immunosuppressive mice induced by CTX, SBT pulp oil could enhance NK cytotoxicity, macrophage phagocytosis, and T lymphocyte proliferation, and regulate the proportion of T cell subsets in mesenteric lymph nodes (MLN), and promote the production of secretory immunoglobulin A (sIgA), IFN-γ, IL-2, IL-4, IL-12 and TNF-α in the intestines.

To understand the relationship between the community structure of bacteria and soil environment, the diversity and composition of soil bacterial communities were investigated, based on 16S rRNA gene clone library, in three different sampling sites (SP1, SP2 and SP3) in the Bortala and Jinghe River basins of Ebinur Lake Wetland. The results showed that the diversity of bacteria among plots was SP2 > SP3 > SP1, and the richness was SP3 > SP2 > SP1. The aim of this study was to reveal the differences in the community structure of ammonia-oxidizing archaea (AOA) between rhizosphere and non-rhizosphere soil, to provide a theoretical basis for further study on the relationship between halophyte rhizosphere soil microorganisms and salt tolerance. The results of diversity and community structure showed that the diversity of the AOA community in rhizosphere soil of Reeds was higher than that in non-rhizosphere soil in spring and lower than that in non-rhizosphere soil in summer and autumn. In summer, the diversity of rhizosphere soil of was higher than that of non-rhizosphere soil and lower than that of non-rhizosphere soil in spring and autumn.

Although it has been proposed for decades to predict site of metabolism (SOM) by in silico methods, identifying SOM correctly remains an unsolved fundamental problem and is an active area of research. In our prior works, we proposed a chemical bond-based approach to construction of SOM prediction models by integrating chemical bond descriptors and drug-metabolizing enzymes data.
