Humans primarily understand the world around them through visual perception and touch. As a result, visual and tactile information play crucial roles in the interaction between humans and their environment. In order to establish a correlation between what is seen and what is felt on the same object, particularly on flexible objects (such as textile, leather, skin etc.

Ultraviolet A (UVA) radiation causes various irreversible damages to human skin, so the research about UVA-specific sensing device is urgent. 2D black phosphorus (BP) is used in many photosensors due to its advantages of high carrier mobility and tunable bandgap, but its application for UVA-specific photosensor is not reported. Here, a MXene-BP/Zinc oxide (ZnO) hybrid structure with lamellar-spherical interfaces like finger lime fruit is prepared by the layer-by-layer assembly (LLA) method, and p-n junctions are constructed between BP and ZnO with the TiCT electrode, showing excellent photoelectric performance.

Background And Aims: Many studies of gastric gastrointestinal stromal tumors (g-GISTs) following endoscopic resection (ER) have typically focused on tumor size, with most tumors at low risk of aggressiveness after risk stratification. There have been few systematic studies on the oncologic outcomes of intermediate- or high-risk g-GISTs after ER.

Methods: From January 2014 to January 2020, we retrospectively collected patients considered at intermediate- or high-risk of g-GISTs according to the modified NIH consensus classification system.

Transition-metal monometallic photocatalysts have received extensive attention owing to the maximization of atomic utilization efficiency. However, in previous related works, single-atom loading and stability are generally low due to limited anchor sites and mechanisms. Recently, adding transition-metal monatomic sites to defective carbon nitrides has a good prospect, but there is still lack of diversity in defect structures and preparation techniques.

Early adverse life events (EALs), such as maternal separation (MS), can cause visceral hypersensitivity, which is thought to be a key pathophysiological mechanism of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Previous studies mainly focused on EALs-induced visceral hypersensitivity in adulthood but did not consider that it may have occurred in the preadult period. We previously found that rats who experienced MS suffered from visceral hypersensitivity starting from the post-weaning period.

Aspirin and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are associated with a reduced risk of gastrointestinal malignancies, which is thought to be mediated mainly through the inhibition of cyclooxygenases-2 (COX-2). Due to the severe side effects of aspirin/NSAIDs, selective COX-2 inhibitors may be a more ideal choice. The objective is to evaluate the association of selective COX-2 inhibitors with gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies and premalignant lesions.
