Meningeal lymphatic vessels mediate neurotropic viral drainage from the central nervous system.

Recent studies have demonstrated that brain meningeal lymphatic vessels (MLVs) act as a drainage path directly into the cervical lymph nodes (CLNs) for macromolecules contained in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). However, the role of MLVs during CNS viral infection remains unexplored. Here, we found that infection with several neurotropic viruses in mice promotes MLV expansion but also causes impaired MLV-mediated drainage of macromolecules.

[Effect of moxibustion combined with Guifu Yuhe decoction on the conversion score of idiopathic constitution, serum total lgE and blood EOS in the patients with allergic acne].

Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of moxibustion combined with Guifu Yuhe decoction on allergic acne and the influence on immunologic function in the patients.

Methods: A total of 60 patients with allergic acne were rando-mized into an observation group (30 cases) and a control group (30 cases).Thirty healthy employees were in the healthy group.

Properties of Rigid Polyurethane Foam Modified by Tung Oil-Based Polyol and Flame-Retardant Particles.

Although tung oil is renewable, with an abundant production and low price in China, and it is used to synthesize different polyols for rigid polyurethane foam (RPUF), it remains a challenge to improve the properties of RPUF by redesigning the formula. Therefore, we propose four novel compounds to strengthen the properties of RPUF, such as the catalyst-free synthesis of tung oil-based polyol (PTOK), aluminum phosphate micro-capsule (AM), silica micro-capsule (SiM), and grafted epoxidized monoglyceride of tung oil on the surface of SiO (SiE), which were designed and introduced into the RPUF. Because of the PTOK with a catalytic function, the foaming process of some RPUF samples was catalyst-free.
