Introduction: Brachial plexus schwannomas are extremely rare tumours of the head and neck region accounting for less than 5 % overall. Due to its rarity and anatomic complexity of the brachial plexus, schwannomas in this region present a diagnostic and surgical challenge to the surgeon.
Case Report: We present a case of a 56-year-old female who presented with a slow growing right sided neck swelling associated with pain and tingling in the distal end of the right forearm.
A rare case of intratonsillar abscess is presented in a 25-year old healthy adult male, where the clinical presentation was found to be unique hitherto unreported in the medical literature. The clinical record also highlights the importance of incision and drainage in the management of such cases. With this case, we illustrate a rare entity that present in an extremely rare manner.

The algorithm of treatment of septic lateral sinus thrombosis (SLST) has undergone a paradigm shift with the understanding of the natural history of sigmoid sinus thrombosis. Thus, the recent medical literature promulgates the management of these cases with no sinus exploration. Bilateral vocal cord palsy is a rare but life threatening complication of lithium battery ingestion in children. This complication is mostly missed by otorhinolaryngologists due to lack of awareness on the cited subject. We present one such rare case in an infant, where the clinical presentation was found to be unique but hitherto unreported in the medical literature.

Objective: To determine the prognostic significance of "Tympaometric Volume" for paediatric tympanoplasty type I in a select age-group of 5-8 years.
Methods: A prospective study was conducted in 30 children with chronic suppurative otitis media-inactive mucosal disease of either sex. Pre-operative tympanometric volume was recorded in all the cases and statistically analysed with the graft uptake results post-operatively.
