Clinical Outcomes of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for Diabetic Foot Ulcers: A Systematic Review.

Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) are severe complications of diabetes mellitus that often lead to nontraumatic limb amputation. This systematic review aimed to assess the primary clinical evidence supporting hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) in the management of DFUs. A literature search was conducted using PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science from June to August 2024, and six studies with a total of 391 patients were included in the final analysis, after applying relevant inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Association between pioglitazone use and bladder cancer: A systematic review.

Background: Bladder cancer (BC) remains a significant global health concern, and its incidence is influenced by a wide array of factors, including geography, sex, and socioeconomic status.

Objective: This systematic review evaluated the potential association between pioglitazone use and the risk of BC. We sought to determine whether pioglitazone, used in diabetes management, is associated with an increased risk of BC by reviewing recent studies.

This systematic review evaluated the efficacy and safety of efpeglenatide in patients with T2DM and obesity. Literature searches in PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science focused on randomized controlled trials (RCTs), cohort studies, case-control studies, and longitudinal observational studies from 2019 to 2024.
