Neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) of the gallbladder origin is particularly rare, accounting for only 0.38% of primary malignancies of the gallbladder, and standard therapies are limited. The gene encodes the tyrosine kinase receptor, c-Met.

Recently, trifluridine/tipiracil (TFTD) plus bevacizumab also showed promising efficacy as a salvage line therapy for advanced CRC. However, the efficacy and safety of regorafenib for patients with advanced CRC who have previously received TFTD plus bevacizumab is unclear.

However, real-world data on the effects of FTD/TPI in patients with advanced gastric cancer (AGC) are limited.
Methods: We retrospectively collected and analyzed the clinicopathological data of patients with AGC who received FTD/TPI monotherapy at our institutions (Kobe City Medical Center General Hospital, Osaka Red Cross Hospital, Himeji Red Cross Hospital, and Kansai Medical University Hospital) between September 2019 and July 2021.
The diagnosis and management of borderline ovarian tumors during pregnancy are still not standardized, because these tumors are rarely encountered. We report the case of a 27-year-old pregnant woman who presented with an ovarian mass in her first trimester. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed a multilocular cystic component with papillary lesions in the background of endometriosis, suggesting a seromucinous borderline tumor or ovarian cancer.

We analyzed the publicly available microarray dataset (GSE2109) using binary regression and found that the transforming growth factor (TGF)-beta signaling pathway was activated in omental metastases as compared to primary sites of disease. Immunohistochemical analysis of TGF-beta receptor type 2 and phosphorylated SMAD2 indicated that both were upregulated in omental metastases as compared to primary disease sites.

Microarray datasets of ovarian cancer cell lines and cancer tissues were analyzed using bioinformatic tools. The gene expression profile of OCCC was similar to that of renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
