Background: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) are widely adapted for recurrent or metastatic head and neck cancer (RM-HNC), and various studies on its prognostic factors have been reported. We aimed to elucidate the prognostic factors of ICI treatment for RM oral cancer (RM-OC) in a retrospective study.
Methods: We retrospectively reviewed patients with RM-OC treated with ICIs (nivolumab and pembrolizumab) at our department from May 2017 to February 2023.
Global proliferative arrest (GPA) is a phenomenon in monocarpic plants in which the activity of all aboveground meristems generally ceases in a nearly coordinated manner after the formation of a certain number of fruits. Despite the fact that GPA is a biologically and agriculturally important event, the underlying molecular mechanisms are not well understood. This paper describes potential applications of our previously developed fabric sensor into wearable healthcare or nursing systems based on its sensing modalities. This sensor is knitted from tension-sensitive electro-conductive yarns; whose structure has an elastic core, wound around by two separated tension-sensitive electro-conductive threads.
