Background: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) virus has been a world-known pandemic since February 2020. Multiple variances had been established; the most common variants in Israel were omicron and delta.

Aim: To analyze and compare laboratory values in the "omicron" and "delta" variants of the coronavirus by conducting follow-up examinations and laboratory audits on COVID-19 patients admitted to our institution.

Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) can serve as reliable markers in genetic engineering, selection, screening examinations, and other fields of science, medicine, and manufacturing. Whole-genome sequencing and genotyping by sequencing can detect SNPs with high specificity and identify novel variants. Nonetheless, in situations where the interest of researchers is individual specific loci, these methods become redundant, and their cost, the proportion of false positive and false negative results, and labor costs for sample preparation and analysis do not justify their use.

Aim: The aim of the research involved determination of catalase and superoxide dismutase content in oral fluid of patients exposed to occupational vibration depending upon their dental status.

Materials And Methods: The assessment of dental status (DS) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) content in oral fluid (OF) was performed in three groups of patients: control group (n0=129) included the persons exposed to occupational vibration and whose results of combined medical examination excluded the presence of vibration disease (VD); the second (n1=63 patients with VD stage I) and the third (n1=66 patients with VD stage II) groups consisted of the patients, who underwent treatment at the clinical department of the Research Institute of Occupational Hygiene and Occupational Diseases of Kharkiv National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. DS determination was carried out according to the method of K.

Aim: The aim of the research involved determination of reduced glutathione content in oral fluid of patients exposed to occupational vibration depending upon their dental status.

Materials And Methods: The assessment of dental status (DS) and reduced glutathione (RG) content in oral fluid (OF) was carried out in three groups of patients: control group (n=129) included the persons exposed to occupational vibration whose results of comprehensive medical examination excluded the presence of vibration disease (VD); the second group (n=63 patients with the VD stage I) and the third group (n=66 patients with VD stage II), who underwent treatment at the clinical department of the Research Institute of Occupational Hygiene and Occupational Diseases of Kharkiv National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. DS determination was carried out according to the method of K.

Unlabelled: Postmortem structural and biochemical changes in the muscle tissue (MT) of myocardium from the positions of forensic examinations (FE) of the prescription of death coming (PDC) were not studied systematically, this fact determining the purpose of the present research.

Aim: The aim of the research consisted in study of structural and biochemical changes in the tissue of myocardium during the early postmortem period (PMP).

Materials And Methods: The muscle tissue of myocardium within the early PMP (3-13 hours) after the coming of death was studied on 30 human corpses.

Unlabelled: Criminologists and medical examiners in practice are interested in the existence of reliable, stable criteria that would allow to unambiguously interpret certain post-mortem phenomena observed in the body, and which would allow to determine the age of death.

Aim: The aim of the study was to study the postmortem patterns of acid phosphatase in muscle tissue (MT) of various types to improve the accuracy of determining the age of death.

Materials And Methods: Determination of acid phosphatase content is performed in homogenates of myocardial, esophageal, diaphragm and intercostal muscles in the early postmortem period (PMP) (3-13 hours after death) in 30 human corpses.

Unlabelled: It's known from the basics of clinical biochemistry and pathophysiology, lactate is the end product of anaerobic glycolysis. During exercise lactate leaves the muscles and is converted by the liver into pyruvate or metabolized by brain tissue and heart muscle. The level of lactate in muscle tissue from the standpoint of forensic examination to determine the age of death (PDC) during the early postmortem period (PMP) has not been previously studied.

Unlabelled: Forensic medicine is naturally supported by fundamental sciences, its integration with them contributing to its improvement on the whole, particularly in diagnosis of the prescription of death coming. Scientific achievements and foreign specialists in forensic medicine during recent years have made it possible to significantly deepen our sound knowledge of postmortem phenomena.

Aim: The aim of the research consisted in study of postmortem regularities in the content of lipofuscin in different types of the muscle tissue (MT) for improving accuracy of determination of prescription of death coming.

Unlabelled: Respiratory diseases are becoming one of the most widespread threats to the world's population. It is important to focus on new public health management mechanisms for the development and promotion of public health at the national and municipal levels. Dysplastic dependent pathology (DDP) of the bronchopulmonary system (BPS) is a group of diseases or conditions, which includes bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), recurrent bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, obliterating bronchiolitis, interstitial lung disease.

Aim: The aim of study was to evaluate structural and biochemical changes in the tissue of intercostal muscles during the early postmortem period (PMP) - 3-13 hours.

Materials And Methods: Absolute and relative values of the concentration of glycogen, acid phosphatase, lactate, lactate degydrogenase, lipofuscin and cholinesterase during the early PMP were determined on 30 human corpses by results of study of the tissue of intercostal muscles.

Results: It was proved that the early PMP was characterized by proper biochemical and biophysical changes of the muscular tissue, the most demonstrative of them were as follows: a reduction in the concentration of glycogen and dynamic increases in the concentrations of lactate dehydrogenase and lipofuscin.

Unlabelled: The modern practice and tactics of forensic medical diagnosis require scientific substantiation of informative diagnostic criteria for assessing the prescription of death coming (PDC), first of all during the early postmortem period (PMP).

Aim: The aim of the study was an evaluation of the concentration changes of biochemical markers (BCM) in muscular tissue (MT) of the oesophagus during the early postmortem period.

Materials And Methods: MT of the oesophagus within the period of 3-13 hours after the coming of death was studied on 30 human corpses.
