  • The study involved a comprehensive search of multiple databases for research on TCE-based cardiac rehabilitation in heart failure patients, assessing the risk of bias and methodological quality using independent evaluations by two authors.
  • A total of nine randomized controlled trials with 721 patients were analyzed, demonstrating that TCE significantly improved motor function and endurance, while also reducing hospitalizations and healthcare costs compared to control activities.
  • Despite the positive results for TCE in physical improvements and quality of life, no significant differences were observed in left ventricular ejection fraction and maximal oxygen consumption when compared to the control group.
